Lake Macquarie City Council Holidays

The staff is always very helpful the breakfast in the morning was a nice way to start the day and it was a historic building which was awesome and close to a lot of the things that you want to do in Sydney

Great place to stay, helpful staff and amazing location

We were welcomed by Emily at Front of House who was so helpful. She gave us great recommendations and really made us welcome. My only disappointment was due to booking through Expedia only 1 breakfast was included whereas if we had booked direct both guests would receive breakfast. Otherwise the stay was ideal. The area is great, 10 minute walk to most places, circular quay, the rocks, old sydney, the shopping area in Pitt Street.

Clean and bed was comfortable. However I had a big suitcase and had to go down stairs on my floor to access my room. I was also close to the lift and could hear it in the evening and early morning. There was also some noise coming from the air con. I was so tired that I managed to sleep but this could be quite annoying. For all guests: be aware there are no international plugs/usb or channels on tv. No breakfast on premises. Bedroom was ok but it seems this is quite a dated hotel.
