Should have been told there was no waterfall due to drought. It was not private and secluded as there were people camping on property and using the outdoor shower, we didn’t not expect to share. The sewer situation in the camper was so smelly it was gagging. Vent in bathroom and on air conditioner, filthy. I have pictures of all the discrepancies. In all felt like a bait and switch. Sure, you aren't staying in a hotel room on a lake or in an rented basement in someone's house, but the swimming hole here is incredible -- deep water with fish and crawfish, areas for lounging in the dappled shade, and a tall waterfall hiding behind a rock formation. We stayed on the property in the owner's camper and had comfortable sleep each night. Ticonderoga is only 20 minutes away and the fort and Star Trek tours are both worth it. Mountain hikes are a longer drive, but this place can be your home base for the whole area around the Adirondacks. ##### Samuel B.
