"This is a great place to stay if going to Cedar Point. Close to restaurants and highway. This hotel had a good hot breakfast and clean, comfortable rooms. My only suggestion is that you enforce the no smoking/vaping policy. Is there a hotel anywhere that doesn't reek of weed?"

"The room was pretty clean. I had to pay $20 per night to park my car in their lot that wasn’t too big of a deal. The Wi-Fi didn’t exactly work. And we had to wear uncomfortable plastic wristbands for the duration of our stay in order to have access to the building in which our room was."

"We like this location the owner and staff were great . It’s cheap and close to cedar point . New locks on the doors were nice from last year as it felt more safe . I understand this hotel is a new project and will take time and money to be renewed . We had an newer refurbished room still not 100% we had something on the floor by the fridge which was not cleaned from previous people that stayed there and fridge wasn’t really clean that’s the only issue I really had . Bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked . We have been here 3 times now and each time I have seen great improvements ."

"I enjoyed my recent stay at Cedar Cove. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the premises were quiet. The continental breakfast was a huge plus. My room was pretty standard and no frills, but i also liked that there was a refrigerator and microwave. The fridge wasn't terribly cold, but it was adequate. I also would have greatly appreciated a non-slip mat in the bathtub. The motel has easy access to most things one would like to do in Sandusky: shopping, parks, the mall and restaurants are only a few minutes away. Castaway Bay is within walking distance. I'd gladly stay there again."
