"We loved our stay at Aurum Retreat. A delightful cottage with a charming garden and plenty of thoughtful little touches. It rained the whole time we were there, but we stayed toasty in front of the fire. The kitchen was well equipped and it really felt like a home away from home. Perfect for families. We will be back (when it's less likely to rain!)."

"Our stay was great - our group was 3 adults and 4 fifteen year old boys. They loved the spa and the space to throw a ball around, TV was perfect for watching the rugby on while eating up large and the pool table got plenty of use too. Town was close as were other attractions - we all loved the jetboating and hot pools. House is an unusual layout which worked really well for us - the boys were far enough away from us that we couldn't hear them talking at night. Kitchen is well appointed - I did feel a wee bit guilty that I had to use a metal spatula in a teflon pan but that was my only complaint."
