"I felt I was home at my family's lake. The only thing that made it very tricky was the driveway because it's extremely steep. However, when you get used to it, it's not bad and great exercise when you have to walk your dog!The hosts are extremely responsive. The home was amply supplied with appliances, bedding, and there was even a basket with dog bedding for us to use.Note that if you are someone who has difficulty you with steps, this has a steep set of steps in the middle of the house to get to the bottom floor. If you have a toddler, I would bring a baby gate for the stairs.We didn't use the kayaks, but that looked really like it would be fun. I think we'd like to come back and explore further. This lake is quiet and beautiful. You can see herons, fish, birds, water, snakes, and other wildlife.We even saw a few fireflies for the first time in many years, which we found delightful"

"The home was nice and as represented. We did have two issues:The owner keeps his vehicle in the garage so it is not available to use. We had our bicycles with us and had planned on placing them in the garage to prep for the weekend race. That was not disclosed until the check in email was sent.The check in email did not send for some technical reason explained by the hosting organization. I had to reach out and request the information (about an hour after check in time). They were immediately responsive and we no problems after that. But since they don't get you the key code until 10 minutes prior to check in (according to the site) this doesn't allow you to plan ahead and then when a glitch happens, it creates a bit more of a panic.I would suggest giving the renter that information earlier so they can plan better."

"The house is totally remodeled with very upgraded finishes. Very tastefully done. It is in a convenient but quiet location. All towels, soap, shampoo, bathroom amenities provided are also very nice. Every space of this home is wonderful!"

"My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lake Avalon property. The view from the deck was so beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were comfortable. And it was nice to have the bedrooms with bathrooms across from each and separated by the family room. We are already planning on coming back again next year. "

"The house was great. Well stocked. Comfortable linens and beds. We loved the view and the provided kayaks and paddle boards. It was truly hard to leave when it came time. 10/10 would rent again. The ping pong table and video games were a really big hit. "

"We had a family gathering here for the weekend. Incredible views. Fantastic screened in back porch. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Plenty of space to sleep. Very comfortable beds and linens. Owner is very easy to communicate with and welcoming. We had a wonderful time and didn't even have to leave the house. The lake was too cold in late March, but summer would be fantastic. Bald eagles we're a nice bonus.Easily one of the best places to stay in this corner of Arkansas. Will return when visiting family."
