"Overall it was nice but the house needs some maintenance, needs gutters cleaned , showers drains need cleaning. Minor problems, but would have made this place outstanding. Outside was great time, very quiet and relaxing. Would do it again."

"We enjoyed our weekend at Hilltop Haven! Very spacious and filled with things to do. Our children especially enjoyed the basement with pool table and darts! Close walk to the nearby lake and close to Lake Wallenpaupak. We loved having the option of sitting outside by the fire or inside of the screened in porch."

"Warm, cozy cabin with beautiful views of the lake and forests. My girlfriend and I stayed here for four nights and it was the perfect chance to relax and unwind. Plenty to do in the community itself, and in the nearby area as well, but my girlfriend said her favorite moment was when this family of deer came by to graze along the front yard while we sat on the deck and watched. Thanks again to Ashleigh and Michael for providing such a comfortable place for us to stay."

"The house and the lake community had everything we needed to have a great time. The dock was very close for fishing or kayaking, the house has a fire pit, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, and a great supply of games, and the community has a lot of activities during peak season. Many other activities are close by. The owner did a great job of leaving welcome gifts as well as staying in contact to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly highly recommend this home."

"We had a fantastic time on our mountain house vacation. The house was beautiful….clean, comfortable furnishings, huge kitchen, and even a bottle of champagne included! CJ was a wonderful host. Very attentive and responsive. We had some questions about the heat and the lock code and he was right there for us, responding very quickly through text. "Overall the house was very nice. All the essentials were provided. The beds and linens were comfortable and cozy. The water pressure and temperature in the showers was good. The property was nice, with many amenities. Few things were left to be desired. Some seating and/or additional surfaces in the bedrooms would have allowed us to keep luggage/items off the floor. The shower curtain was the fabric liner type, so it smelled like rotten towels. We had to provide our own propane and firewood....

"My family had such a nice time. Plenty of room for all 8 of us. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning. I could spend a lifetime staring at that lake. House had everything you need. Fred was an amazing host. Super attentive."

"The house was perfect and host was very easy to contact and communicate with as needed. The games, hot tub and golf cart were the best additions to a vacation house. Our favorite adventure we did there was the ATVs that were on the suggestion page in the house book. No complaints, we had a great time."

The house is super clean and has a lot of beds if you do go with big group family and friends. The community has heated pool and small lake beach for children to play. "Second Stay as wonderful as the first"

"We stayed overnight to prepare for a friends bridal shower. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook our own meal, there was plenty of seating to enjoy said meal together and the space was terrific for entertaining. We spent a ton of time in the hot tub which was in great shape and very clean. The beds were really comfortable which made the stay even better as many of us traveled quite a distance. The hosts were very responsive to questions and requests. We can't wait to come back!"
