Close to downtown Inverness. Quiet and restful.

Staff were friendly and gave us a good larger than expected room on arrival which was good. The hotwl is positioned in a very peaceful area. We had a room on the ground floor at the back so there was no road noise but lots of noise late at night when other guests were arriving to their rooms. Walls/floors are thin! The water coming out of the taps and toilet was yellow..not sure why. Bottles of yellow tap water were being served to customers. The menu was not to our taste far too much spicy food. I had to send the corn on the cob back as it was covered in spice. We were then brought a new plain one and were not charged which was good. Can't comment on the cooked breakfast as we only had fruit/continental options.

Beautiful room! Great location! Super friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast was delicious and generous! We really enjoyed our stay at The Ambassador.

The staff were friendly and the overall apartment was nice. However, some areas needed more cleaning. For example, there was pink mould, bottle caps and dust inside the sofa and cigarette butts outside the window. The place was lovely except for the noise from pubs outside. Another thing to note is that the bathroom lacked amenities so be prepared for that.

The Loch Ness Country Hotel was lovely. Our room was quite large, with beautiful views of the gorgeous hotel grounds. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a nice restaurant at the hotel, which is helpful as the hotel is about four miles from the city of Inverness. The only "downside" to staying here is that distance, as you cannot walk out the door and explore the city, but if you want a lovely, relaxing place to stay, you cannot do better!
