Spacious and accommodating perfect for my large family ,the unit was decorated beautifully and included everything we needed for our stay and the gorgeous view from our balcony was the best view of the whole trip ,I could've stayed on that patio chair my whole time there

The view of the beach was amazing and the food truck near the pool was convenient when you lazy to go out to eat you can just order and bring it to your room. Beach front access just step away. The staff is so nice . We like the self laundry inside the room especially after swimming in the sandy beaches. My husband also love the view his office space was in the middle of the living and get to see the sunrise and sunset while working remotely.

The pictures on Expedia do not represent the current condition of the Royal Kahana Maui by OUTRIGGER. We've stayed at other Royal locations: Royal Kona and Royal Lahina so I was expecting better. The exterior looks run down and is currently under construction. The room was the one I booked but looked older than pictured and smelled like a second hand store. Once we got over the initial shock in differences it was fine. The staff is super friendly and there was free coffee and a water dispenser in the lobby which we used to refill our water bottles daily. We didn't use the pool but it looked ok. There is a food truck by the pool and direct access to a small strip of beach. The room's perks were the kitchen and washer/dryer which was very convenient and the bed was comfortable. The location was good. Just 5 miles from Lahiana, and less to Whalers Village and Honoapiilani Food Truck Park.

Condo was clean, well stocked, even a coffee grinder(very unexpected) great view even though the beach erosion is evident, it doesn't detour from it. The pool area was super, plenty of lounge chairs during my stay. Restaurant and convenience store with in walking distance. Easy to get in 5k run/walk in the mornings. Would definitely stay here again

Our first room smelt bad, but was quickly changed by the front desk. The rooms and resort is starting to look tired and dated compared to most other hotels in the area. Washing machine and tumble dryer in the room was a great addition, and our second room was very clean. A great bar and some restaurants in walking distance and nice views around the room, pool is quite small but a good size if fairly quiet

We had a ocean/poolside view from our room which was breathtaking. The employees were nice and helpful when needed. The grounds were clean and very safe easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, the bus and more importantly the beach! Plenty of parking and close to the building. Multiple elevators for fast service, laundry in every room with a full kitchen. Iwould definitely stay here again and also recommend to anyone I know!

Perfect beach view. We got to see whales everyday from our balcony! Binoculars are a plus. Only complaint would be the bed was uncomfortable and the pool needed to be cleaned. Loved everything else!

The views are amazing! We saw turtles and whales from the balcony daily - don’t forget to bring binoculars! The staff was friendly and the beach chairs were so thoughtful to leave for guests! We will definitely be coming back!

Our second time staying at Royal Kahana. Great location and gorgeous views. Parking is easy. Lovely pool area and the grills are always very clean. Also really enjoyed the food truck located by the pool.
