"The house is a wonderful escape. The beds are comfortable and the sound insulation makes for quiet sleeping. The upstairs deck gives a respite from the mosquitoes. The sliding doors onto the back patio are broken and don’t lock, so we strapped them together at night, although the fenced, gated property felt very safe. We missed having a microwave. The food just across the street was good though. The views are beautiful and if back in curaçao we would stay there again. "

"We had an amazingly beautiful 😍ocean view, and a nice big pool. The apartment was clean and roomy. It had everything we needed. Just a small note, there was a kitchen but no stove only a cook top, which was fine. The staff was super accommodating and helpful. The beach is absolutely stunning it’s a 2 min walk from there. Umbrellas are 10$ and 7$ for a chair. There is also a small restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want to explore the island, and the rest of their amazing beaches, then you will need to rent a car. The real positive thing about staying on the west side of the island is that you have the 3 of the most beautiful beaches closer by. The best one by far is Grote Knip beach which is an 8 min by car from Playa lagoon. There is a cliff you can climb and jump off from into the water. Bring beach shoes if you are not comfortable walking around on small pebbles or rocks. When you get into the ocean it’s all sand and super clear. Snorkeling gear is a must if you can bring, or you can always go downstairs from the hotel and just rent everything for as long as you need them. It was very convenient to have a dive shop on the premises. The city is about a 45 min drive, but so worth it if you want to experience some music, history, architecture, restaurants, shopping etc.. The closest grocery store is a 25 min drive. A special thank-you to Yuri that made our stay exceptional 🙏. And to Sunny for the car rental. Highly recommend this stay! 😃😃😃"

"We had a fantastic 9 day stay! We like to scuba dive, and the locations nearby are great (snorkeling great too)! Joel was easy to communicate with - a great host! During down time, just hanging around the back yard with the ocean right there was amazing! Great sunsets and stargazing! We went on some great hikes in the immediate area as well… We highly recommend this property!"

"We had an amazing stay and can’t say enough good things about this property and the host, Bernard! From the moment we booked, Bernard was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful. He made the entire process seamless and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, including a cooler which he made sure was there when we arrived.The home itself was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. It was clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. The little details, like clear instructions, local recommendations, and the welcoming atmosphere, really made our stay special.What truly stood out was Bernard's hospitality. He checked in to make sure everything was going well and was always quick to respond if we had a question. It’s rare to find a host who is this attentive while still giving guests plenty of privacy to enjoy their stay.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted VRBO experience.
