At check in we were welcomed by Joana who was so helpful and recommended places to see. We stayed in room 303, which is one of the external rooms overlooking the pool and you can even see the sea in the distance. Roll had a big balcony. These rooms have steep stairs and aren’t suitable for people with mobility issues. There was a small table and chairs and a couple of sun loungers. Towels were provided as well as freshly filtered drinking water. The room was big and beds were comfortable,...

A wonderful home away from home. Really impressed. Very much hoping to return!

Wonderful place!! Cute, well equipped, comfortable, friendly. We couldn’t fault it and would book again without hesitation.

Fabulous stay, gorgeous hotel & staff! Will be back

The main building where we stayed is very well maintained and the cleaning is top rate. The hotel staff can not do enough for you and make your stay a very pleasant and relaxing break. The breakfast has something for everyone and is very fresh and replenished throughout the breakfast service between 08.00 and 11.00 am. Loved the hotel! Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Staff were very helpful. Location was great for beaches and walks. We enjoyed the 15 min walk to old town.

Staff were helpful and friendly. 20 minute walk to beautiful old town. Very quiet and relaxing.

Fantastic apartment and great facilities

Great location in the centre of historical part of Lagos with tons of cozy restaurant within a minute walk. Rooms are big and comfortable.

Really great property and really well fitted out in the kitchen for cooking which can be rare. Great and helpful staff who are very responsive. Great to have the easy access to the pool for lazy afternoons and the Moroccan restaurant at the pool is amazing and really good value. Easy 15-minute walk into the centre of town which goes past small local Portuguese restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops so you could experience the fancy old town places as well as the authentic local places.

Great location very friendly staff. Good breakfast comfortable beds very clean

Fantastic hotel, in an amazing location! Can't fault it at all.

Excellent location Only negative pool was so cold and was very windy up there

Hilario and the team at Vila Luz are top notch - ideal location for meander into the resort

I stayed at The Editory by The Sea Lagos Hotel from July 2nd to 7th, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. This is a truly exceptional hotel that deserves the highest rating possible. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how new, clean, and well-organized everything was. The entire hotel is beautifully designed, with a modern aesthetic and thoughtful details throughout. The infrastructure is outstanding — from the rooms to the common areas, everything feels fresh,...
