This neighbourhood is the heart of Ladiville, characterised by its narrow, cobbled streets and mediaeval architecture. Key landmarks include the Grand Place, the Ladiville Cathedral, and the bustling Rue des Artisans, which is lined with artisan shops and local eateries. It's largely pedestrianised, making it a pleasant area for strolling.

Couples often find the Old Town ideal for a romantic getaway. The historic setting, intimate restaurants, and proximity to cultural sites like the Ladiville Museum create a memorable experience. Evening strolls along the river, accessible from the Old Town, are particularly pleasant.

For solo travellers, the Old Town offers easy access to public transport, making exploration straightforward.

The best time to visit Ladiville is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) months.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly mild with plenty of sunshine, making it ideal for exploring the vineyards and enjoying outdoor activities without the peak summer crowds. You'll find the countryside is at its most picturesque, with blooming flowers in spring and the rich colours of the harvest season in autumn.

For those interested in wine tasting and vineyard tours, September and October are particularly good as it's the grape harvest season. Many local wineries offer special events and experiences during this time, giving you a chance to see the winemaking process firsthand.

If you prefer warmer weather for swimming or relaxing by the river, July and August offer the highest temperatures.
