Set on 9 hectares of private land, with a sparkling lake nearly 5 hectares in size and two homes right on the water’s edge, this is the kind of place where time slows down. The main house is spacious and full of character, with a large kitchen, cosy living area, multiple bedrooms, and sun-drenched terraces—always with that tranquil view of the lake close by. Just a few steps away, the guesthouse offers two double bedrooms, a simple kitchen, and its own bathroom. A washer and dryer are available for all guests. The property is always rented privately—just for your group. If you're coming with 8 or more, the guesthouse is included for an extra €200. Want to explore the surroundings? You'll find a local bakery and pub just 2 km away, with charming medieval villages, castles and peaceful country roads perfect for walking or cycling. They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! Ook kan je erin varen en vissen. Prachtige vlinders gezien die van alle kanten vandaan kwamen. Het hele terrein was een ontdekking voor zowel de kinderen als de volwassenen. Ondanks de regen hebben we een fijn verbmijf gehad. Grappig toen we de eerste keer in het water sprongen en dat het zo ondiep was haha. Maar daardoor voor de kinderen weer veilig. Alleen zijn de badkamers wat toe aan liefde.
