"I planned our stay for our Golf themed weekend and was excited when we walked in the lobby. Gradually that excitement turned to disappointment as we were led to our room. We took the stained stairs to our 3rd floor room, I made the comment “that the smell reminds me of weekends at Wildwood NJ.” take that as you will. We were lead down the hallway that looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks which only heightened my anxiety for the room. We entered the room, it was pleasant until I started looking around. The room appeared not to have been cleaned thoroughly, as there were tight curly hairs left behind on the bed, in between the sheets. The pillows were as thick as sheets of paper and the mattress sucked. The bathroom was another story. The shower curtain had red mildew, there was something on the shower wall, the soap dispenser didn’t work, the shower plate behind the handle was coming off the wall so that I could see INTO the wall and again HAIR EVERYWHERE. There were no hooks to hang towels or toiletries bag.So why did I stay?!? It was PGA Championship weekend and everything was booked otherwise I would have left. I didn’t take photos because I didn’t know if I was going to write a review."

"Dining options were quite limited. Staff was friendly but service was not good. Lot of noise in rooms on my floor that went on so long I had to call the desk to send security ( at midnight). Room was clean but missing a garbage can in the bathroom!"

"The fire alarm was going - without cause - several times through the night and morning. Starting at 4AM. Sheets weren’t washed. The room key didn’t work after 2 attempts, so the staff told us to “come get them” if we left and had to get back in. "

"The beds were comfortable. The room was enormous and the location was excellent although very noisy at night because of traffic. Several things about the hotel are quite rundown. The curtains didn’t open or close properly because they caught on the tracks so my husband had to climb up and sort them night and morning for four days. The bath had considerable limescale staining and the shower temperature couldn’t be adjusted. The worst thing was how cold the room was. Apparently this was because the hotel heating was in summer mode so the room could only be cool and not heated. We were freezing in there most of the time and it took till our final (4th) night for the hotel staff to bring a heater to us. Coffee and tea facilities in the room were not replenished and when we asked they didn’t arrive or we had to wait a very long time. By the final night we were quite miserable so the hotel did say they would refund us for our final night. So far we haven’t received any of this money despite departing a week ago."

"Could not check in on time, staff was rude and unhelpful. I had to call expedia to get my room 3 hours late. Bartenders were great."
