The entire property is gorgeous with a variety of gardens and restaurants. You are a 10 minute walk away from town or the Labuan War Cemetery, and just across the road is the peaceful Tiara Beach. Clean and well maintained for the most part, just dated decor etc. Huge rooms. Comfy beds. Lovely gardens. Good pool. The service is incredibly slow and food very hit and miss. Staff are delightful just not dynamic! A useful daily drop off to the town/sights if you ask. Wifi works fine. To get a signal to send a message you need to visit the lobby. This was the case in a superior room or in the apartments. If I hadn't paid in in advance for the hotel, I would have moved somewhere else. However we were disappointed upon checked in (almost 4pm) to discovered there was only 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, no soap, no toothbrush let alone no disposable shaver. We paid for a room for 2 adults & 1 child. When we called the housekeeping dept, we were informed the hotel run out of towel and were awaiting delivery from 3rd party. On the positive note, the staffs are very courteous and apologised profusely for the shortage of towel. We believe the above is a one off incident and would have addressed by now.
