"Nous avons passé un excellent week-end prolongé dans cette superbe villa.Elle est parfaitement équipée pour petits et grands (jeux, livres, vélos, table de ping pong, brasero…).La piscine est vraiment magnifique, à l’abris des regards au milieu d’arbres splendides.Nous avons également profité du chef à domicile Allcook pour 2 dîners et c’était top!Et merci à Gladys et Sandrine pour leur accueil plein d’attentions"

"It was a quirky place to stay. Close to the Nantes to Brest canal with somewhere to store your bike. The owner was very helpful suggesting a lovely place to eat and helping us to find the next place to stay."

"Stayed for 3 nights in October 2025. The stay was very pleasant. The room was comfortable, warm and clean. The hosts were very accommodating and done rverything to make my stay plesent. The property is in a very nice, remote, and quiet area. Chateaubriant is a ten minute drive away, with lots of nice restaurants. Dinner one evening was very plesent and good value for money. Would definitely return. "

"We stayed in this house and although it was nice we couldn’t sit outside very much because of a massive influx of wasps for the whole 2 weeks which was a shame as it was hot, we have stopped at other places that are next to farms etc. but on this occasion they were doing a massive building project and it was noisy and very dusty and on the odd day muddy. For the price all the services should be included. Also I had to pay a big deposit which is also a first as we always look after our holiday homes. Kind of put a negative spin on stay "

"Stayed here with my family and my brothers (4 adults and 5 children in total ages 7-15). We had a really great time. The facilities include a pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, petanque and a nice BBQ. It was perfect place for us all to spend time together. The pool is a little too deep for very small children to stand in (maybe 1.2m deep) BUT there is a small shelf around the sides just below the waterline which I think makes it a great pool to learn to swim in. With arm bands or a float jacket a small child could easily get in and out and at only around 4m across width ways it's a good distance for a small child to attempt their first swim going from shelf to shelf. There is a large washing machine and dryer for your clothes and plenty of cooking equipment. From here we visited Puy De Fou, Terra Botanica and Nantes (to see the castle and Les Machines). We had a great time on all three trips. We really enjoyed staying here. It was about a 6 hour drive from the Eurotunnel terminal in Calais. "

"We had a wonderful time there.The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. The furnishings, furniture, exterior, bathroom, kitchen, living room—EVERYTHING is exactly as you see it in the pictures.The kitchen is superbly equipped with a stove, hotplates, refrigerator, and everything else you could need.There are so many plates, cups, and glasses that you could feed an entire soccer team at once.It would be great if there were 4-6 slightly larger glasses with a capacity of 0.5 liters for example, then you wouldn't have to refill them so often The peace and quiet is great; you could sit on the street for hours without a car passing by. Speaking of cars: if you don't have a car, you need to have a very good bike or a great desire to hike, because there are no shopping facilities in the area; the nearest supermarket is a 10-minute drive away.We were lucky and were able to pick tomatoes from “our” garden there. I've never eaten such good tomatoes in my life!Hervé is a courteous, polite, and helpful host who lives nearby and responds immediately to questions or problems. Very exemplary!For example, the Wi-Fi went down due to a storm, conveniently over the weekend. Hervé took care of it immediately and a technician came by on Monday and solved the problem. Thank you again for this wonderful stay.One note:The studio above the sauna can only be reached via a very steep staircase! This could prove to be a hindrance for older people..... "

"Very cute hotel with amazingly friendly staff. My only complaint is that "air condition" is not truly air conditioning, and in the heat of summer it was quite hot in the room."
