Host Giovanni is not onsite. Instructions to enter are clear and easy.
Unfortunately, replies could be improved with regard to speed. There were times when it’s almost 24 hours before you get reply.
Calling this a “Cottage” is true to the fact. It’s really really small.
It should be stated here: the apartment is RIGHT BESIDE THE TRAIN TRACKS! This is a major factor. The trains are nonstop: passenger trains are from 5am to 12 midnight. Freight trains are 24 hrs.
The listing accepts a booking of 5 pax. It really shouldn’t be allowed beyond 3. The extra bed for an extra 2 people is a sofa bed that is located beside the sink!
Unfortunately, that sofa bed is really really worn down. The 2 people will end up sleeping on a sofa bed mattress that is sooo thin that you are literally sleeping in the metal railings of the sofa bed. The other 2 beds (a single bed and a twin bed) are okay. So be warned. Don’t book for five like I did.
We found some trash left over from a previous guest. We reported right away, but the reply takes long (see above). The host did eventually fix the issue.
no air conditioner. Only one fan for the bedroom, but you can’t open the windows due to the mosquitoes. For the sofa bed in the kitchen (see above), there is no fan. It is a big problem during the hot summer months. And you can’t open the kitchen windows due to the train noise! (See above)
Water heater is not consistent
The location is okay. The train station is about 16 mins away.
