He (unprompted) messaged daily with restaurant recommendations and check ins. 100% would not hesitate to stay here next time I visit La Paz. I would not recommend this apartment to those with mobility issues as there are stairs up to each apartment. I was lucky to find Rafael’s listing. The description and pictures are accurate. We took a bus from the SJD airport and it’s a short walk from there. We were coming from a 4 day camping experience and took advantage of the washer and dryer upon arrival. The apartment is centrally located to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, museums, water activities, transportation, and the Malecon. Rafael is exceptionally responsive and helpful. He recommended places to eat, offered cleaning, plus gave us a ride to the bus station. He was always quick to respond to my questions. Place was clean, bed was soft, small fridge. We could have used the larger fridge. The apartment is located in central La Paz , close to the melacon and restaurants. we got there right at the end of Carnival, so the first few nights we lost sleep due to noise and vehicles on the street. We took Uber to the beaches which was quite cheap. Walked so much. Such a great city to visit. People are friendly, great food, and seemed like there was a lot going on to see. Never bored. As far as the apartment goes it’s close to the hub of La Paz if that’s what your looking for. One thing we missed was a pool. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back.
