Lovely house, very quiet
We had a lovely few days in this villa over Xmas 2023. Contact with the owner was easy and pleasant at all times and she was quick to respond to questions. Pool area is a great place to spend the day, pool was warm enough in December. Everything you could need in the villa and a nice touch to leave essentials on arrival...including wine ;-) Thanks

Lovely stay in Lajares
Property was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed on arrival. Space inside and outside was excellent and the pool area was great. Pool was very clean too. We loved the village with it’s restaurants and cafes. Also proximity to both coasts was great, we particularly liked El Cotillo and it’s fabulous beaches on the west coast. We felt a car was essential but it made getting around very easy. All in all a terrific stayin a lovely villa and area.

Perfect Relaxing Break
The villa is spacious and well provisioned. The views are fantastic and there is little to no noise (apart from our children 🙈). The pool is nice and deep at one end and shallow at the other which allowed the kids to play. Delia was a great host and even when we managed to lock ourselves out she was able to sort it in a short time even though she was in another country. Would definitely reccomend

Wonderful holiday, great villa!
We had a fabulous stay at the end of July. Lajares is a lovely, laid-back town, with excellent friendly cafes and restaurants. We chose it because of it’s great location for beautiful surfing beaches. Lajares has a good selection of surf hire shops - we used Joyas Surfschool. The villa is just a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive into the centre of town. It is very spacious, both inside and out, and even has a utility room and drying area. The heated pool is wonderful. The host couldn’t be more helpful. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a restful holiday.

Lovely Villa with fabulous view
Absolutely loved our stay as this spacious villa. It had beautiful views of the volcanos which you could enjoy from the lovely garden a pool area. Heated pool was fantastic and was the location. Only a 15 minute walk away to the centre of Lajares. Would certainly recommend and plan to return.

A lovely villa
We have stayed in this villa several times and have already booked for next year, a real home from home especially as it now has a premier tv package. Great holidays!
We've been in Villa Papagayo 4 times so far and this this time it was really fantastic. Since it was very cold January it was great to find out that the water in the swimming pool was really warm and there was an electric heater in the house to heat up a bit in the evenings ! Thanks a lot Delia ! Besides, Lajares is the best place in the world -)

Great villa for family stay
We've spent lovely time in this villa as a family of 4 for 2 weeks. It got everything you need inside. Garden is huge with swimming pool in it,where we spent a lot of time. We had sun in the garden from early morning so it was really nice and warm. Owner Delia was really nice and if we needed help with something she was always on the phone😁 Will be definately coming back next time😊

Lovely stay away
We really enjoyed staying in Deliah's lovely villa for a long weekend in Fuertaventura. The villa was spotless and really spacious and the food and drink items left for our arrival was a lovely welcome. The location was so nice and peaceful with a gorgeous view, but was also easily walkable to the local restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend staying here :)

Our two week stay
Our family had a lovely stay and relaxing stay in the villa . The property was as advertised and more than met our expectations. The pool area and views were great and we spent quite a few nights ( and drinks) enjoying them !. The property is in a perfect location for exploring the island and for walking to Lajares the local village . The village has some excellent restaurants and as previously mentioned a fantastic bakery along with the usual supermarket etc. Communication with the owner was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property and if we visit the area again we would look to stay again .

Relaxing
The Villa has a good aspect out of the wind and lovely shade, which was needed. Well equipped and clean and everything worked. The owner had kindly left instructions for a fossil walk, near the Villa, which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. The man who looked after our pool was helpful and always very cheerful. Great bbq, with all the equipment you need. Felt very sad saying goodbye after 3 weeks on the island as we have felt very relaxed. Thank you.

One of the best in the village. Fantastic views from bedroom & swimming pool. Heated pool makes early morning and late evening swimming a must. One small ? mark is the lighting above the main table at night is very low and reading & crosswords are Impossible.

We loved the spacious private villa only 10 minutes from the coast. The heated pool was excellent and cleaned twice a week . The welcome pack was most useful on arrival. It is in a lovely location with great views from the terrace. Lots of good walks in the area. We hope to return.

Lovely villa in a lovely setting
It was our first holiday as a family of 6, the villa was clean, spacious and the welcome pack was a very welcome touch upon arrival. It’s set with stunning views of the surrounding volcanoes which you never tire looking at. The pool was just the right size for us, with inflatables in the utility room for the kids to play with (we left some others too so it’ll be well stocked!). Delia was very prompt in answering a couple of queries we had and overall it was a lovely place to have our holiday. Lajares is a nice village with some interesting shops, a play park and we had a great meal at the pizzeria near the roundabout.

The villa was exactly as the website described it. It was extremely reassuring to have the owner reply to all our questions very quickly and helpfully. Another nice touch was the welcome pack which had food and drink essentials especially useful when the flight did not land until late evening. Everything you needed in the villa was there. Beautifully positioned on the edge of a peaceful bohemian villagr
The villa itself was spacious, comfortable and well fitted out with everything we needed. It is positioned on the edge of the village with views out to the hills meaning you feel very privately located whilst actually only being 10 mins from the nearest bakery. It was a wonderful and relaxing stay and we'll definitely be back.

A fantastic place!
This place is so great. It's spacious, clean, the beds are comfortable and we absolutely loved the heated pool and the barbecue. Also, the owners respond quickly and accommodating when we had a special request regarding check in-time. The location is perfect, close to Lajares village (with a fantastic bakery), but still secluded. We also appreciated the provided "walking guide" for the area. We both climbed a nearby volcano and found fossils. Great for kids. Many thanks!

Nice villa in need of some attention in places. Very clean and all the equipment needed for the holiday was made available in the villa. Very helpful owner (Delia), thankfully, because directional details lacking from HomeAway. The App was very difficult to download. A lot of local noise from barking dogs - not sure how this problem can be overcome!!!!! Would certainly consider another visit in the future.

tranquil villa holiday
Villa is furnished well, has all the basics you need, only couple of very minor issues, such as all knives blunt but purchased sharpener to do ourselves and cupboards etc just had pots pans, crockery etc all jumbled and in them, but only took 10 mins to sort to see what we had, but only to be expected as the villa seems to be really popular and continually rented. There is a store cupboard with some basic, and a welcome pack is left, which included some beer, wine, bread, butter, cheese, ham, milk. We had an issue with the water one day and when we arrived the front gates had been blown off hinges but after a quick phone call both issues were sorted promptly. Pool is cleaned twice a week, villa is cleaned once a week and a gardener attends once a week. Villa is in a tranquil spot just on the outskirts of the village, but within walking distance of shops and restaurants (20 mins). We would definitely recommend and would return ourselves.

Well-loved family villa in tranquil setting
We always enjoy coming back to this villa with its spacious, well-designed interior, its delightful pool and terrace and its large, secluded garden. Living here is like being in constant contact with nature. The village has a good range of cafes, restaurants and shops and the well-maintained house provides all the facilities one could want. After doing one of the interesting walks on offer, we often enjoyed a drink on the balcony watching the sun set or, later, seeing the brilliant array of stars. Highly recommended for a relaxing, rejuvenating holiday.

Fantastic, well equipped villa for a quiet, relaxing break with great views over countryside.
Lajares village centre is less than 10 mins walk and there is a good choice of Cafes and Restaurants, Bakery and a good supermarket. Easy drive to the coast at El Cotillo and Corralejo for fantastic beaches. The villa is clean and well equipped and suitable for adults and/or family groups and a great barbeque area. Feels very spacious and has an open outlook. Lovely to receive a welcome pack for our arrival. Heated pool a real bonus on days when skies were cloudy but still warm.

Keine luxuriöse Villa - eher renovierungsbedürftiges Haus
Leider kann ich nur höchstens 2 Sterne vergeben! Einen für die Lage des Hauses und den Pool - der ein wirklich schöne Abkühlung an den heißen Tagen geboten hat. Von einer luxuriösen Villa wie es in der Beschreibung beschrieben wird ist das Haus leider weit entfernt. Das Haus hat seine besten Tage hinter sich. Die Möbel sind nicht mehr im besten Zustand - die Betten sind richtig durchgelegen, die Couch abgenutzt und die Bäder bräuchten dringend eine Grundsanierung, die Vorhänge sind dreckig und/oder kaputt. Da das Haus über keine Klimaanlage verfügt, sind eindeutig zu wenige Fenster mit Fliegengitter (ganze 3) versehen. Abends waren zu viele Mücken unterwegs, sodass dann nicht mehr ausreichend gelüftet werden konnte. Das Besteck in der Küche könnte einen Austausch vertragen und deutlich aufgestockt werden. Das WiFi hat gut funktioniert. Fuerteventura ist eine wundervolle Insel um sich zu entspannen und den Alltag zu vergessen - doch leider nicht nochmal in diesem Haus.

Schönes Haus in Lajares
Wir waren zwei Wochen in Lajares und hatten einen schönen Urlaub. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war gut, wir durften sogar etwas früher in das Haus. Vielen Dank dafür. Bilder/Beschreibung passen zum Zustand. Alles hat gut funktioniert und der Pool (die Kinder haben es geliebt) wurde gut gereinigt. Erwartet hier aber keinen Neubau, dass Haus ist etwas älter und hat seine Gebrauchsspuren. Eben alt aber gut unterhalten. Empfehlung: etwas mehr Geschirr. Für 4 Personen gut, bei 6 Personen dürfte es knapp werden.

Abbiamo molto apprezzato il soggiorno a Fuerteventura. Per noi amanti della tranquillità Lajares è il paese perfetto. La casa è graziosa e pulita. Molto comodo il self check in. Due piccoli punti deboli: le panche pesantissime e scomode del tavolo interno e la mancanza delle zanzariere in alcune finestre. Nel complesso una ottima soluzione

We do not have air conditioning at the property as most of the year the temperature is pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze. The windows can be kept open at nights with mosquito guards and there are fans available to help keep cool. Luxe, calme et volupté
What a gem. Brillant architecture throughout (high ceilings, superbe management of space, optimum distribution of light and shadow) meets perfect private pool meets lush (for Fuerte) gardens. There's not an item in the house that would not deserve to be appreciated or even lauded. Even the little stereo sounds astonishingly good. Grill's especially great, loved by us and the sweet young cats populating the adjoining countrysite alike. We almost never left the compound, only for short supply runs to the magnificent French Bakery and the ok Dino market in 2 min. driving distance. It's that good here. Plus we felt really welcomed by wonderful Delia. Much recommended, in all respects. We'll be definitely back.(Before I forget it: there's always running water from perfectly functioning showers, and enough of it. Experienced Fuerte-aficionados will especially marvel at this point ;)

Herrliche Aussicht, beste Lage
Vielen Dank für einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in einer süßen, kleinen Villa mit Pool, der sogar regelmäßig während des Aufenthalts gesäubert wurde. Selbst unsere Betten und Handtücher wurden nach einer Woche gewechselt und bei einer Rückfrage um mehr Decken war sofort jemand da, um uns welche zu bringen. Der Kühlschrank war befüllt und Snacks waren ebenfalls kostenlos zur Verfügung. Einfach nur wow für den Service und die Aussicht vom Pool aus ist einfach einzigartig! Außerdem haben wir das Örtchen Lajares mit seinem unvergleichlichen Hippie-Vibe wirklich lieben gelernt! Danke und alle Daumen hoch! Amelie, Patrick und Lisa

Ein sehr schönes, gemütliches Haus in einer tollen Lage. Das Haus ist ausgestattet mit allem, was das Herz begehrt, insbesondere der beheizte Pool und der Grill haben uns viel Freude bereitet. Der Garten ist sehr schön und der Blick in die Berge wundervoll. Bei Ankunft stand ein Willkommenssnack für uns bereit, den wir sehr genossen. Parfait !
Une maison un peu à l'écart du centre mais proche du petit centre ville et du supermarché. On peut rejoindre le centre ville hyper animé de corralejo ainsi que les plages, en 15 min max c'est super. La vue depuis la terrasse est magnifique. La maison est très grande et propre. Les photos sur le site correspondent bien à la réalité. Nous avons eu un gros souci avec la piscine à notre arrivée car l'eau était verte foncée ! mais la propriétaire a été très réactive et le pisciniste est venu tout les jours même le dimanche, jusqu'à ce que l'eau retrouve un beau bleu turquoise. Si il fallait laisser un point négatif je dirais qu'il conviendrait de changer la paillasse qui abrite la terrasse et mettre quelques chose "en dur" car lorsqu'il pleut ou qu'il vente il y a beaucoup de petit morceaux et de saleté qui tombent sur la table et sur la terrasse. eh oui car nous avons deux jours de pluie lors de notre séjour dont un jour de tempête avec des trombes d'eau ! Nous nous rendons souvent aux canaries et cette maison est l'une des plus belles que nous avons loué. En tout cas c'est sûr, nous reviendrons car toute la famille a adoré cette villa. Bueno el primer día llegamos con mucha ilusión pues pensamos que la casa se ajustaría a lo esperado, cosa que no pasó y os cuento: nada más llegar la casa carecía de limpieza, los bajantes tantos de la piscina como del baño principal estaban obstruidos, cosa que se quedaron así, a pesar de habérselo comunicado a la propietaria, en la terraza había una mesa con 6 silllas las cuales tuvimos que limpiar. Los cristales llenos de tierra, las hamacas no había x dónde cogerlas de la suciedad que tenían . Nos dejaron solamente una toalla para la ducha para 10 días. Nos quedamos una tarde completa y una noche sin agua y sin Luz debido a un corto de la casa. A la semana de estar nos volvimos a quedar sin agua, lo cual hizo que adelantáramos nuestras vacaciones y regresáramos antes de tiempo, cosa que nos fastidió mucho, porque íbamos muy ilusionados . Y ya por último, precaución para las familias con niños pequeños , pues las pocetas de la depuradora que están ubicadas en el jardín, no están en buen estado , lo que hace que sea un peligro para los ellos. Vamos la casa no tiene manteniendo , y limpieza mucho menos

Tolle Lage, grundsätzlich tolles Haus, aber es müsste sehr vieles in Ordnung gebracht werden!
Das Haus hat wie erwähnt eine tolle Lage, eine schöne Gartenanlage und grundsätzlich auch einen guten, familientauglichen Grundriss. Im Haus selber müsste aber sehr vieles gemacht werden: die Küche auf den ersten Blick einwandfrei, ist nicht gut eingerichtet und überall herrscht Unordnung. Auch die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Dies gilt auch für das grosse Badezimmer, welches in die Jahre gekommen ist. Handtücher rochen nicht sehr frisch. Doppelbett im Erdgeschoss ist durchgelegen. Einzelbetten teilweise auch. Das Haus bietet wenig Möglichkeiten um eigene Sachen aufzubewahren, z.B. fehlt am Eingang eine Garderobe. Viele Regale sind voll mit Büchern, DvD's oder Spielzeug, es bleibt wenig Platz für die eigenen Sachen. Abflüsse um Poolbereich herum funktionieren nicht, es gibt ständig Wasserlachen auf dem Sitzplatz. Ich möchte das Haus nicht schlechtreden: für einfache Ansprüche genügt es absolut, wer allerdings Wert auf Sauberkeit und Ordnung legt ist möglicherweise nicht ganz am richtigen Ort.
