I stayed at the Dorma Linajes for two nights at the time of the eclipse in 2026. The location of the hotel was excellent from that point of view - a short walk into the countryside gave a clear view of the sun at the appropriate time. It is also a short walk to the Plaza Mayor in the town centre.
The rate was reasonable and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast is well stocked and also very reasonably priced at €10pp.
My room was on the 6th floor and small, but neat and comfortable. The aircon was excellent. Note that the lift only goes up to the 5th floor - there are stairs up to the 6th.
Two oddities:
1) The hotel terrace is not open after breakfast, which is a shame, as my room had no balcony. It would have been nice to be able to sit out. (The eclipse would have been visible from it.)
2) There is no kettle in the room. There is a kettle in reception, but no tea or coffee! (Bring your own, I guess.)

We were given an accessible room hough i hadnt booked ine. The bathroom was a wet room with a seat in the shower so the floor was soaked. Also nowhere to hang towels. Literally not even a peg!
The pool is not a swimming pool, it's about 3 meters by 4 meters.
