Villa "Casa del Sol"

The "Casa del Sol" villa is located on a completely separate, stand-alone lot right next to El Refugio. The Costa Acentejo Nature Reserve begins directly below the property. A beautiful hiking trail begins right in front of the property, revealing the natural beauty and unique features of the nature reserve. The view of Mount Teide (3,718 m), Puerto de la Cruz, and the Atlantic Ocean is breathtaking throughout the garden and inside the villa.

The living spaces of the “Casa del Sol” villa exude both exclusivity and cosiness. The villa can accommodate up to 6 people for an unforgettable holiday.

The large garden, featuring native plantings and a heated pool, also offers an outdoor shower and sun loungers. The cosy and harmonious atmosphere of the property is complemented by several terraces that offer varied and expansive views. The stunningly beautiful southwest-facing location offers not only breathtaking sunsets but also a view of Spain’s highest mountain, Mount Teide. The view of the entire north coast—and its sea of lights at night—has a very special charm.

An outdoor sauna made of high-quality cedar wood, integrated into the garden, is another highlight. The floor-to-ceiling windows open generously onto the garden, offering a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean even while you’re “sweating it out.” Right next to the sauna, in a covered area, is a 2-person hot tub, from which you can also enjoy the view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Far from mass tourism, you’ll find pure relaxation here in these peaceful and quiet surroundings. The holiday home is also an ideal starting point for numerous excursions in the surrounding area.

The villa features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a very spacious living and dining area with a gas fireplace. The fire adds a special touch and ensures a cosy atmosphere even on the few cool days of the year. The antique wooden kitchen is a real highlight. The fully equipped kitchen—complete with a dishwasher, four-burner ceramic cooktop, microwave, oven, fridge-freezer combo, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, and more—leaves nothing to be desired. A washing machine, dryer, and ironing facilities are located in the adjoining pantry.

The large dining table in the living room easily seats eight people, and from there you can enjoy a magnificent view of the entire north coast, Mount Teide, and the Atlantic Ocean.

The two master bedrooms are tastefully furnished with high-quality beds (180x200 cm) from the “Swiss Flex” sleep system, as is the children’s/teen room, which features a bunk bed and adjoins one of the master bedrooms. The villa offers two bathrooms: one with a walk-in shower and the other with a shower/tub combination.

The private wine cellar, complete with a grill area and a brick oven, can accommodate 8 people. Right next door, in the “wine cellar” so to speak, there is a small bathroom with a bathtub and toilet in a very rustic style.

The villa is fully equipped with bed linens, tea towels, shower towels, beach towels, dressing gowns, a hair dryer, and more. A small stereo system, satellite TV (ASTRA), and Wi-Fi are also available.
