"The property is in a great location and the views are amazing. The property itself is outdated and pretty worn, could use a bit of updating. Overall, the room was clean and the location was great. But we had a not so great experience with a guest that was staying above us. The hotel refunded one night of the resort fee. Overall it was okay but probably won’t stay here again."

"The hotel is under construction there is no pool access but they still charge a resort fee! The emt was great as we got a sting ray accident. I love the hotel but was not impressed this time …. Will try again "

"Parking was not available. It was full. Room not very clean. Got charged for internet but we never logged in. We had a voucher to use, we were told during the checkout we will get credit, but during checkout our voucher was not honored. I would not recommend staying at this location."

"We loved our stay!! The location can't be beat. Great quality for value. The beds are really comfortable and I'm incredibly picky. Lovely room with a view and it's awesome having the Birdseye restaurant/bar upstairs to grab a quick drink and bite which was a highlight of our time in La Jolla."

"The ocean view room doesn't really have an ocean view, you can only see the ocean through the holes between trees."
