Unique experience and perfect location. Kevin, Daniela and Christian took very good care of us. The staff is friendly and attentive. The breakfast was included in the reservation, which was delicious. Night walk on the property was an excellent experience and the guide did a great job explaining everything we spotted on the trail. Our room was in excellent condition, well appointed and beautiful. True immersion in the rainforest!

We had such a wonderful experience! The entire resort was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the staff was pleasant, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Everyone was on top of everything and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The service was excellent, especially poolside! A special shout-out to Antonio, Kevin, and Modesto for their outstanding service and hospitality. They were attentive, friendly, and helped make our time at the resort even more enjoyable. Everyone was absolutely fabulous! We truly appreciated the wonderful service and would definitely recommend this resort. We canā€™t wait to come back!

This place is a hidden gem. The food is excellent, the spa services were outstanding and the staff treat you with such kindness you feel you are at home. Having a hot tub on our patio was a plus and the shower is luxurious while feeling like you are outside. Highly recommend if you are looking for a tranquil and eco friendly place to stay.

My stay at La-Tifakara was delightful from beginning to end. The grounds are beautiful, the staff go out of their way to keep the grounds pristine and to keep their guests happy. I have no complaints and I recommend this hotel very enthusiastically.

I had a wonderful stay at Tifikara by the waterfall! I highly recommend this hotel, the staff were super friendly and helpful, customer service was phenomenal! Location was perfect a 5 minute walk from La Fortuna waterfall. A special unexpected treat was the free guided night tour around the property the hotel offers where we got to see so many exotic plants and animals such as super colorful frogs! The free breakfast was delicious and the ahi tuna steak was a great choice for dinner. I especially loved drinking coconut water on the way to my room while enjoying the tropical scenery. I highly recommend staying here!

From our arrival to our departure, everyone was so nice and accommodating! Chichi handed us a delicious complimentary welcome drink and Esther checked us in with a smile! This trip was a college graduation gift for my son and our stay was wonderful! Antonio was a during breakfast. Kevin took awesome pics for us during the night tour. We loved it here!!!

This stay was incredible. From our balcony, we watched spider monkeys, capuchins, toucans and humming birds. The rooms were comfortable with air conditioning, and Veronika made us excellent towel animals every day! We were made to feel very special on our honeymoon. Breakfast was exceptional, with great service from Antonio. Dinner was equally great quality, and affordable! We enjoyed cocktails by the pool throughout our stay. We were able to get an Uber on a Monday night into La Fortuna with a very short wait, and an uber back was easy too - each ride cost around Ā£3/$4. Iā€™d highly recommend Ti-Fakara lodge. It was a really special place, right next to incredible nature and wildlife, with attentive and genuine staff. We loved our stay!

The property is beautiful and the room very comfortable. The live music at the restaurant was a wonderful surprise and the service and food was excellent. The included tours were also amazing and yielded some of our best pics! Shout out to Steven, incredibly talented musician and the whole staff!

Excellent staff and hotel. It really felt like you were in the rainforest. We would wake up earlier each morning to listen to the rainforest with our coffee from the balcony. The last morning we saw toucans flying overhead in the trees. The included breakfast is amazing and staff is so helpful. Antonio was a great server and Kevin at the front desk was so helpful with local recommendations. I recommend doing Kevinā€™s nighttime rainforest walk to see so many animals, which was complimentary with our stay. If Iā€™m ever back, Iā€™m 100% staying here again. We rented a car so the included gated parking lot was perfect for us.

Tifakara was an absolute dream. We wanted a boutique hotel that was integrated into the jungle and that's exactly what we got! The property is gorgeous, with winding paved paths through the jungle to get to each room. We visited the onsite frog sanctuary each night to hear the 100s of frogs (and try to spot just a few!). The included breakfast was top-notch, with fresh coconuts for coconut water, a gourmet coffee machine, a la carte options like eggs benedict, avocado toast, etc, and the best part was getting to enjoy it in the gorgeous pool area while listening to the many birds. The staff were very attentive and communicated often by WhatsApp to check in about our stay and make sure they were meeting our needs. The rooms are small but very tidy, clean, and well-kept, and the outdoor shower deserves special mention: showering under the trees with the sounds of the jungle all around was meditative and memorable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
