I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Faro Arenal! The staff were fantastic and very accommodating, the room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast options were perfect with absolutely delicious food! One of the highlights was seeing the local sloth, several toucans, and even a coati along the property’s walking trail. The location was also convenient, with a great local soda (Costa Rican restaurant) and a grocery store within walking distance. And getting a taxi is easy and everything is close. Food delivery was fast too! My only tip is to bring a washcloth or sponge, as those were the only things missing from the room. I highly recommend Hotel Faro Arenal to anyone visiting La Fortuna. Great staff, great food, beautiful wildlife, and a memorable experience. I would happily stay here again! Pura Vida!

Great coffee for breakfast. Cook to order breakfast was amazing. Convenient location to La Fortuna, but quiet and away from all the activity there. Nice nature walk on the property and its a 6.minute drive to the La Fortuna waterfall. Definitely would stay again.

Wonderful hotel! Beautiful property, with lots of nature, beautiful hike. Saw a sloth close to the Quiet, clean rooms. Delicious breakfast. Super close to town and La Fortuna waterfall, Hot springs and volcano. Friendly staff, great suggestions for things to do.

Beautiful grounds to walk around with wildlife to view and nice areas to relax and hang out. Close to downtown La Fortuna and walk-able if you are inclined. Staff also very helpful and friendly. Nice room.

Staff was excellent. The location is away from the main drag and not really walkable but it’s a cool spot. Awesome Soda spot just around the corner. Our 3 night stay was good. Would recommend.

Loved the hotel Faro Arenal. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was delicious. Check in and out were easy. The trail behind the hotel was great. We saw way more wildlife, anteater toucans lots of birds, than on the gjided mystico park trail. Highly recommend.

My wife, 21 year old daughter, her fried and I really enjoyed this place. Staff was super friendly, breakfast was not only convenient but delicious and included with the stay. We saw sloths, hummingbirds, toucans and lots of other birds right on the property. It’s located a little out of the main town but that added to the charm, being away from the hustle and bustle. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

This place is a paradise! So much wildlife! The breakfast is amazing, made to order! The hiking trail is great and we saw several sloths within the hotel grounds. I feel very lucky to have stayed here! My only small complaint is that the mattress was not very comfortable. Otherwise, it's incredible! Close to town but in the peace and quiet of the jungle.
