Imagine staying in a home with vaulted wood ceilings with a cabin feeling and all the modern conveniences of a modern resort. Our home helps good friends and families make memories from the minute they step foot on our property. Our home is nestled on the wooded property with mature trees surrounding our cedar sided home. The home looks and feels like you are in nature. The home has STRONG Wi-Fi in the home & at the Patio & Dock. DishTV cable throughout the living areas & bedrooms. Open Floor plan on the main floor with vaulted all wood walls and exposed beam ceilings invite you into nature on Norris Lake. Our 2700 sqft, 3 story cedar lakefront home can accommodate 20 people. The main level has a full wall of windows that have breathtaking westerly views of Norris Lake with breathtaking sunsets. The main level has an open concept with a large living room with a Flagstone wood burning fireplace and flat screen TV that is open to the dining area with a large dining room table that can accommodate at least 8 people. The kitchen is a chef’s delight with modern appliances and décor and includes two stainless steel refrigerators, electric stove, microwave, Bosch dishwasher and coffee maker. The kitchen has all the pots, pans, cookware and everything a chef or baker would need to feel at home. There is enough plates and utensils for 20 people. There is a full bathroom on the main level with a jetted jacuzzi bathtub, double vanity and toilet. The jetted tub has a full 180º view of the lake. On the lower level there is a second living room with a full glass sliding door with views of the lake. The lower-level living room has two couches, a lazy boy recliner and flat screen TV. There are 3 bedrooms on the lower level. One Bedroom is the Master bedroom with a sliding glass door that is two steps away from the Hot Tub. The master has a king size bed and two dressers along with a flat screen TV and ample closet space. The second bedroom has a full glass sliding door to the lower deck with a queen size bed, dresser and ample closet space. The third bedroom on the lower level has a queen size bed along with a twin bed, dresser and closet. There is a full bathroom on the lower level with an oversized standup shower, double vanity and toilet. On the upper loft level there are 11 additional beds (1 king, 1 queen, 5 double, 4 twin) plus two couches. There are also several dressers and nightstands for storage. There is a Foosball table in the loft. There is a full bathroom with a full tub/ shower, vanity and toilet. There are two fully covered decks off the back off the house with full views of the main channel of the lake. The upper deck has a BBQ, two tables and plenty of chairs. The lower deck has a 9-person jetted Jacuzzi. The Outdoor Jacuzzi water is changed before every renter gets to the house. There is a table and chairs on the lower deck along with ample seating as well as a hammock for relaxing with main channel views! From the lower deck there are stairs down to a brand NEW paver patio with a full wood burning firepit with a full table and chairs. From this patio you are a few stairs away from the Covered two boat dock with full power. The dock has two wells and two jet ski docks. We provide 4 kayaks for our guests to use while staying at the house. There is great fishing and swimming right off the dock. The dock also has a swim ladder. We are right on the main channel with great water skiing right out back. This is one of the cleanest lakes in the US. Fishing spots for striped bass is just around the bend. We are 10 minutes away from 3 marinas by water (Whitman Hollow, Sequoyah Marina, and Norris Dam) and 20 minutes from Shanghai, Deerfield and Springs. Our location on Norris ideal for fun boating trips to the best spots on the lake! There were 20 of us and there was enough room for everyone to have a bed and room to spread out throughout the house. It had a nice fire pit, and dock as well, although we couldn't use the jet ski docks or the lift for our boat. The driveway is VERY steep and has 2, 90 degree turns, use caution! I’ve never seen so many beds in one house. Like someone else mentioned the driveway is a little Intimidating! It’s straight up and down! Also if you’re traveling with elderly folks they probably won’t be able to get down to the lake. My dad’s knees couldn’t do it .. but he loved the view just the same. Overall we had a great time and was pleasantly surprised to be able to door dash from the local grocery. Took less than 30 mins! Lastly you’re sitting on the prettiest lake in TN. Do rent the jet ski. They weren’t ready to go when we were there so that was a smidgen disappointing. But if they are I would recommend taking them out for sure. ##### Shannon O. Our group of 9 had plenty of space to gather together (as well as retreat for some quiet time when needed). The view from both decks is fantastic. The stairs down to the dock are in great shape and on a great stretch of the lake. Lots of boats and jet skis, but the lake there is wide enough that we felt comfortable swimming even when boats were going by. Lake is deep right off the dock (perfect for jumping in again and again) and there are life jackets for floating (and plenty of towels, too). Having access to laundry was super helpful. Was great to have gas grill, as well. Host was very responsive. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher, but host took care of it right away (had someone out to check on it within 2 hours of messaging) and was very diligent to make sure problem was taken care of (ended up needing a new dishwasher, which works super well! :-) ). We were very impressed and grateful for this diligence, as other hosts may have just done a temporary “fix” until they wanted to replace an appliance. (Special shoutout to the really sweet plumber who made sure everything was handled and we were taken care of! :-) As others have mentioned, driveway is steep (looks scarier than it is); we’d recommend an SUV if possible. The house was clean when we got there and communication was always immediate. We loved having 2 fridges ( one ice maker didn't work) There are plenty of pots, pans and utensils. One pan was very dirty and crusty and the oven had stuff stuck to the bottom so it smoked when we used it. We turned the oven to self clean mode which helped. There is plenty of space by the house to park which was nice to load/unload (driveway is the usual, steep Norris type. We were at the dock and swam for hours everyday. . We loved having use of the kayaks and also rented the jet skis, Just make sure you tell Jason ahead of time, and he will have them ready to use. The hot tub was nice to have too. The shower pressure was wonderful, which all of us ladies appreciated! Some of the sinks drained really slow. There are plenty of bath towels, but bring your own beach towels if you swim at the dock or go out on a boat. We also brought our own board games and cards. We loved the easy check out process , which helped get us out at 9am. We enjoyed our stay at Jason’s and made wonderful memories with our daughters before they head back to college. ##### Amisha S. The house main floor, and view from the house is beautiful. So I'll mention a couple things that might help others decide. The driveway is steep, but it is paved, and OK with some careful driving. I would take a motorcycle down it, but not with leaves or acorns on the drive. My lowered Camaro scrapped the front spoiler on the second switchback, but not any worse than some parking lots entrances. Cell phone and WiFi service is spotty at the house, and in the Lake Norris area. My wife's phone worked better than mine, after playing with her phone settings. The only thing we could get to work on the TV is pay per view movies, so we didn't use it, but we weren't sure if it was us or if there is no cable / satellite TV at this house. That might be an issue if you must have TV. The house instructions says that the hot tube warms up ten degrees per hour, but from our experience it is about ten degrees every two to three hours. If you arrive at 8:00 PM, the hot tube will not be warmed up before you go to bed. The vertical blinds in the large downstairs bedroom needs replaced because it is missing too many slats. It will be an issue if there you are with a group of people. There are some areas that could be cleaner, but it wasn't horrible. With some better maintenance and cleaning, it would be a spectacular rental. As is, it was nice, but we'll try another place next time. ##### Barry B. The upstairs A/C didn't work at all. The owner left numerous fans, but with 18 people in the house, it was too hot to sleep.
