"The house layout was fantastic for our large family. Each of our adult chilldren appreciated having their own bedroom with their own bathroom. The no wake section of the lake that the house is located on was very quiet and good for kayaking and fishing. The main part of the lake is just a few minutes away by boat. Sugar Hollow Marina is very close and convenient for boat gas and live music. Great family memories were made. Thanks Norris Nook!!"

"We had the best time at Tan Lines and Good Times! There were so many rooms with bunk beds and also a dedicated bunk room for kids who were older. For our 5 friend families all with little ones there was more than enough room and plenty of beds. The large TVs in all the bedrooms and main rooms made it so nice to set the kids up for movie nights. The area of the lake was so quiet and nice. The house is at the end of a cove with no wake zone all around. The slide and dock were endless fun and the hot tub allowed us to spread out. The firepit was gorgeous and all of the outdoor furniture was great quality and there was plenty for all of us! Can’t say enough good things about this house—very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Only *minor* downside was there were many stairs to get down to the dock but this was to be expected at this part of the lake and was clearly shown in the pictures. Sugar Hollow marina was also very close by boat or car and had great food, an inflatable course for older kids and a nice gift shop. I hope we can come back to this great house again! "

"We did not utilize the dock, but the property was nice and very peaceful. The beds were extremely comfortable and the porch with hot tub was our favorite for relaxing. The homeowner notified us of bad weather approaching and responded timely to my requests."

"This venue was beyond awesome for myself and all of our guests. The proximity of all four cabins allowed for us to easily walk to and from each of the cabins. Also being right on the lake enabled us to have an exceptional view of Norris while being able to swim around in the lake. The property owners were very clear and efficient with all communication. Anyone planning to have an alumni event/family getaway I would highly recommend this listing!"

"We had a large group of about 18-20 people depending on the day. The home was exactly as advertised and we did enjoy our time there. Clean, comfortable, etc...Several light bulbs were blown ( pretty minor) and it would have been nice to know that if you take a larger boat to the home, you are going to have a heck of a time getting out as the property is on the side of a hill and terrain is pretty steep, as a whole, Still a good place for a large group However on our second day the septic plugged, The tank needed pumped, The tank was excavated and the baffle knocked open to allow temporary drainage however we still had to plunge pretty regularly throughout the course of our stay. During our stay the tank was never actually pumped but we were left with a big hole in the yard that was left uncovered and marked off with rebar and caution tape and a large portion of the turf was rolled back. We are all only human and these sort of things happen, I understand that but it Did leave the majority of the usable yard, pool and deck inaccessible for the remainder of our stay. When I asked if the owner would atleast consider reimbursing a small portion of the cost, considering what we had to spend on the place, I was left with no reply, that was disappointing. All in all, our group was still pretty content with the stay."
