"Everything was neat and orderly. Pillows were a bit too soft and I believe sheets were microfiber and I don’t care for those but the stay was good and we had a good nights rest."

"Just redone very clean. Friendly staff. The only complaint was that you could not get the air/heater fan to run full time. A small thing BUT after spending a life time in motels the steady white noise of the fan can cover a lot of hall and parking lot noise."

"Beautiful hotel conveniently located to walk aroung downtown LaCrosse & the park along the Mississippi. The nightly rate was very good for the quality of the hotel. The only strange thing is that the pool was oddly located across the common area from the elevator, so you had to walk through with other guests around."

"As for the bed and pillows, well, you get what you pay for. Breakfast was decent, though there is only one restaurant within walking distance; however, downtown is less than a 5-minute drive away with more options. Access to the base was pretty easy, being about 9 to 10 miles (a 12- to 14-minute drive) from Fort McCoy. Overall, it is a good place to stay, and I would return if I had to."
