Phenomenal location and first class property in every respect. Elegant dining and everything was well prepared and presented. Comfortable and spacious room with all amenities. Time didn’t allow us to sample the spa offerings but I’ve no doubt they’re remarkable as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Good choice, would go again.

Very quiet hotel, staff is very friendly and highly competent. they have a spa and a restaurant on a high level. the entire hotel is quite big and if it was to me, it could use a bit of a refurbishment. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy but could use a brush up. No big thing though as I slept very vell. Breakfast is very nice, would deffo stay there again.

Lack of support from the staff. Being guests of the hotel we were more ignored than lunch goers. We won’t come back

Simply wonderful experience. The Grand Hotel is family owned and almost everyone participates. They are at the front counter one day and serving you food at the hotel restaurant that evening. The hotel is based on providing a wonderful spa experience. We didn't get a massage but used the sauna's, indoor [colder] pool, the outdoor [hotter] water pool with multiple water jets, and the lounge rooms and loved them all. The minuses; we didn't have a car and the hotel is way to far above the town to walk so we had to pay 20 Swiss Francs for a cab each way to go to the city, no air conditioning and we were in the middle of a heat wave. The hotel did provide us with a huge rolling fan which combined with opening our window was able to draw in the cool air from outside to help us sleep. The town is beautiful and the horology museum [our purpose for going] was fantastic.
