The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. The shower wasn't the best however as it was on a rail over the bath tub and the shower head wouldn't really stay upright
The most disappointing thing about our stay was the breakfast. The first morning some of the items had run out but they weren't replenished until my husband requested it. The second morning we arrived half way through the service and some of the trays were almost empty (eg muesli and fruit salad). They remained like this until we left. One of the staff removed the fresh fruit tray but it took about 30 minutes for it to be returned. There were also a lot of tables that needed clearing . There were 2 staff members in attendance but they didn't appear to be doing much
My husband complained after breakfast and things did seem to improve the next morning
This hotel is not inexpensive so this was disappointing

The hotel location in the middle of Interlaken makes the walks to either direction very short. The staff was really helpful to layout on a map the different options to make the most of the stay, enjoying the attractive spots and activities. The hotel was spotless and the breakfast with delicious options including coffee.

"The GuestHouse was a unique and wonderful place. We had small kitchen/dining area and a lovely bedroom and bathroom. Downstairs there was a place to make breakfast and coffee. There is a nice bakery across the street, too. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"Amazing hotel and staff!!!! Spent 4 nights at the gem of a hotel and cannot recommend it more. The staff was unbelievable- from the front desk, servers, housekeeping staff - all were exceptional. The rooms are beautiful and the lake views and Alps are simply breathtaking. Could not ask for more!!! ..."
