    Chalet Les Vardafes is a four-bedroom, three bathroom chalet for eight guests in the quiet village of La Chapelle d'Abondance, part of the Portes du Soleil ski area.

    We love the spacious living area, which opens on to a balcony with superb views of the mountains. Three of the four bedrooms also have access to balconies, so you can start your day with coffee al fresco!

    The chalet also has a hot tub and a large garden, where children will enjoy running around in the summer, or playing in the snow in the winter. The owner/managers live next door, and are always happy to give recommendations on places to visit and how best to get around.

    The four bedrooms are all good sizes, especially the master suite on the ground floor, which has a dressing area and a shower room. There are three more bedrooms on the top floor - two more double rooms (one with its own shower room) and a twin room. There's also a spacious bathroom with a bath and shower and a separate WC.

    Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.



    The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up
    before arrival. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your card details are securely held for
    up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

This is a beautiful very well set up Chalet, perfect for a summer or winter visit. It was immaculate inside and out. The host is extremely helpful, whilst also respecting your privacy. A lovely week, in a stunning area with plenty to do - a week only scratches the surface of this wonderful area.

The location of the chalet was excellent, right on the main road, with a wonderful view. The chalet is spacious, and the rooms are comfortable. The furniture is good, and the kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary utensils. There is also a very large hypermarket nearby.

Amazing chalet in La Chapelle-d'Abondance! We stayed in Châtel in 2024, but due to the location, it was in a small apartment. By staying just a little further out, you can enjoy a wonderful chalet like this and still be at the lifts within a few minutes in the morning. Thanks to the host for a brilliant stay; we would thoroughly recommend it.
