It is a true old building and is therefore very quirky. My only problem with the property was that the property is mislabeled as private bathroom when it is actually shared. The manager is a very nice person and it is easy to communicate with her. The whole hotel is filled with Japanese elements and it feels like staying in a Japanese home. Although the restroom and bathroom are shared, they are clean and I don't meet any conflict with other guests when using them. However, the location is less convenient than others. It locates within a historical residential area, nice for experiencing Japanese life, but it takes me about 5 min to walk to JR stations or bus stops, which is bad if you carry heavy luggages. Also it is very hard to drive there or take a taxi since the road is narrow.
