"It is a clean, quaint, no-frills property with ample parking and a well-maintained pool and hot tub. Anything else that you would need is just steps from the property...nice restaurants, fishing pier, the Beach (literally, steps to the ocean from the back of the property) and they have pet friendly rooms with a dog park just a five minute walk away. And if you stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor...awesome sunrises over the ocean! We loved the Kure Beach area, as it was much less congested and "touristy" than Carolina Beach. And if you enjoy those crowds, Carolina Beach is just a five minute car trip up the main road. Everything is close by, as we parked our car when we arrived and didn't need it again until we checked out."
