Kumagaya Vacation Packages
Tokyo, the capital of Japan, is located roughly 35 miles (56 kilometers) southeast of Kumagaya, while Yokohama is 50 miles (80 kilometers) to the south.
During your stay in Kumagaya, spend time at Yukoku-ji Temple. Another place to visit is the Kumagaya Sports Culture Park.
Kumagaya isn't the only spot in Saitama worth exploring; travelers should also rent a vehicle and set off to explore the magic of the nearby scenery, towns and cities. Make tracks to Fukaya, and enjoy the Aqua Paradise Patio and Shibusawa Eiichi Memorial Museum. Fukaya is roughly 7 miles (11 kilometers) from Kumagaya is a great place to spend some time. A side-trip to Hanyu is another interesting option. It's about 9 miles (14 kilometers) from Kumagaya and is home to the Hanyu Suigo Park and Saitama Aquarium.
About 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the southeast of Kumagaya is Saitama, a regional center where you can visit John Lennon Museum, Omiya Park and Saitama Stadium 2002 (Saitama Stadium). Saitama has much of interest for travelers willing to hang around a little longer. Hikawa Shrine and Saitama Super Arena are other attractions you won't want to miss.
