It was located in the ground floor, but just on a 1st-floor space. The experiences are totally different, this time is very disappointing. The hygiene of the room is not properly managed. The staff just cleaned the room when we reached. There are some bugs on the bed. No dustbins in the room as well. In terms of facilities, the water flow in the shower-rooms is small, difficult to use. The most disappointing part was the front desk was not 24 hours ready. Le personnel est très agréable mais le service de laverie proposé peut être amélioré (prix élevé pour un service approximatif). Notre chambre double sentait malheureusement énormément le Durian, et cela a empesté pendant tout notre séjour (on pensait que c'était le linge de lit mais on s'est rendu compte après quelques jours que c'était l'odeur du Durian...). Notre chambre à l'étage était à côté des dortoirs, et nous avons malheureusement eu le droit à une nuit blanche à cause d'une dizaine de jeunes qui chantaient et parlaient fort jusqu'au petit matin. Le personnel n'a rien fait pour les remettre à l'ordre, malgré la réception 24/24, obligés de se lever plusieurs fois pour demander un peu de respect dans les couloirs... I'd booked for my spritely 66 year old son of a late cousin. We were there for a series of cross country runs. I was unable to climb to an upper bunk bed, in an otherwise furniture free, tiny room. However, I got used to t7 he lower shelf, (without any lighting. Het was een kamer die lang geleden misschien een leuk kleurtje had, maar nu toch vooral vuil was. Het bed was oké, maar de lakens waren al lang aan vervanging toe. Ze waren op meerdere plaatsen gescheurd. De gemeenschappelijke badkamer was ok. Enkel Wifi in the lounge. Ontbijt pas na 8u, als je vroeger wil vertrekken kan je enkel koffie of thee drinken. We booked 4 nights and only made it 3 before we left. The place is so unclean and in need of serious maintenance. It looks really different from the phots. No Wi-Fi in the rooms, only the common room. Bedding is super old and worn out, walls are filthy, and the doors have big gaps so you can hear everything outside. It smells really musty, there's mould in the showers, and the bathrooms only had handsoap half the time. On our 3rd night someone entered our (locked) room at 4am using a key. We shouted and they left, but it's not the kind of thing you want to deal with on vacation. The staff was friendly and it's a decent location, but if you can afford to spend a few more bucks a night it's best to avoid this place. Sidenote, although it wasn't the hostel's fault, the Hindu temple next door had a special prayer one of the nights which included loud music and drumming from 12-5am, which kept us up the entire night. In der Nähe des Hostels ist direkt China Town und man kommt zu Fuß gut zur Haltestelle Kuala Lumpur, von wo aus man z.B. zu den Batu Caves fahren kann. Good wifi at the lobby, none in the room. Alot of noise in the neighboorhood which is very disturbing. Saw a mouse in the lobby and in a rat on the roof next door. Very clean bathroom.
