A very good budget friendly family hotel.
I like Hotel Petaling, a budget friendly family hotel very very much. I am from India. I had booked a triple bed Ac room with attach bath for 3 days by Hotels.com.I had paid Rm198 at hotel including all taxes. I stayed here in May 2019 with my wife and 14 year old son. This hotel has lift and free wifi. Room and bathroom are clean. Tv,basin and wall mounting fan also available in our Ac room. Hot and cold drinking water is also available in all floors. Very good location:- This hotel is at Petaling street (China town) of Kuala lumpur. Sri Mahamariamman and Guan di temple are only 300m away. 7eleven store 200m. Pasar seni Hub 400m from hotel for metro station Mrt,Lrt. Go kl bus (purple line starting point) ,Rapid kl bus available here. Central market, Kasturi walk 1km. Many good Indian restaurant like Vinny Jeeya and chinese restaurants are 400m away. Street food also available near this hotel. Front desk employees are very helpful . On our request they store our luggage for few hours after our chech out of room.

Good price, good location
We liked our stay at this hotel. It's a geat location and the rooms are affordable for budget travellers. The two employees who work in the morning ate really kind. Check the rooms beforehand. Some of the rooms are nicer than other, and some rooms smell a lot like cigarettes.

For the price, the hotel was fine. The air conditioning worked well and everything was passable. However, be aware that the walls are extremely thin and there was a very large gap under our door that let in a lot of sound. I saw some bugs, and it wasn't the cleanest place, but I was happy with it for the price I paid. The location is excellent--just moments from the Petaling shopping street.

Petaling Hotel, The hotel is at the driveway of Jalan Petaling, short walk to Jalan Petaling Pedestrian Mall, conveniently located in the midst between RapidKL Monorail & LRT stations and KTM Kuala Lumpur station.

Well located, but that's pretty much all.
The Hotel is 2 step away from the Central Market, just outside Chinatown, so really well situated and relatively quiet. The staff is very nice, the room ok. However, there was a really bad smell in the room, and the hotel condition / cleanliness is so so. It is ok for a night or two, but not really better.

Great room yet poor customer service
The room was clean (TRIPLe room), there was an elevator but only up to 4th floor. We were able to rest well in our room and enjoyed the comfort our room has to offer. However, poor customer service from the receptionists, rising tone and a bit rude and we felt slightly discriminated. We hesitated to ask questions because it seems that there's no willingness to help. Overall, thumbs up for the room experience and budget friendly accommodation!

Poor customer service, nice room
Upon arrival, the old guy was the receptionist at that time. We arrived around 11PM. He was not in the mood to assist us. We asked few questions but he wasn't that polite and courteous. Instead he replied with a rising tone. He was a bit rude and we felt discriminated just because we are Filipinos or Asian guests not foreigners. With the room, we're very much comfortable because it was clean and everything were provided plus the price was very reasonable and affordable. The main reason why my parents decided not to continue our bookings with them for the remaining days it is because of poor customer service from the receptionist. But overall experience with our stay in the room was amazing!

Very good location.
The hotel staff are very courteous, helpful and approachable. We are very satisfied with our stay there. We managed to go to places that we wanted with the help and advice from the staff. They really guide us and explain to us how to go to the places we wanted and they gave us ideas too. Thank you very much to the staff there.

Average Chinatown Hotel
We were unsure of staying here when we first arrived, but we stuck with it and ended up glad we did. Good location near entrance to Chinatown which was fun for easy access to the markets and very close to a tram station, one stop from KL Sentral. The room (sheets, towels, etc.) did not appear to be thecleanest but you could tell they were washed and smelled clean. The room also did not have any windows. Morning staff were very friendly and attentive to our requests.

Good location but could be more clean.
The location is good, it is near China Town and Pasar Seni station. And you can just walk to Central Market and Masjid Negara. And if you flight to Klia2, you can take bus to Pudu Station, it will be cheaper than you take KL express. And the hotel provide hot & cool drinking water, it is really help. However, the bed is not good... I feel itching when I lie on it.

Hotel un po sporco.
Nella camera da letto c'erano piccolissimi insetti, anche nel bagno. La pulizia è veramente pessima. L'unica cosa positiva è la posizione nel quartiere Chinatown.

La limpieza del baño deja mucho q desear. El lavabo desagua directamente al suelo, y la ducha consiste en un grifo q desagua tb al suelo, con lo cual el baño nunca está sucio. El agua q suelta el aire acondicionado tb desagua en el baño p un agujero

Standaard budget hotel op toplocatie
Voor 16 euro per nacht een tweepersoonskamer met zeer goed werkende airco. We zijn hier 5 dagen gebleven en vonden het prima. Geen ontbijt maar genoeg id omgeving. Station pasar seni op 5 min loopafstand (1 halte vanaf kl centraal). Ligging is top! Wil je dat je kamer schoon wordt gemaakt geef het aan bij de receptie, ze doen dit niet automatisch! Wat wij wel fijn vonden...eindelijk een kamer echt een beetje voor onszelf! Absolute aanrader!

Günstiges Hotel in zentraler Lager
Hotel liegt zentral. In Lauf Nähe befinden sich U-Bahn (RapidKL), Busbahnhof, kostenlose GoKL Buslinie, Central Market, Night-Market und Freibad (Chin Woo Stadium). Die Ausstattung des Hotels entspricht dem Preis. Es wurde täglich gereinigt und Handtücher gewechselt. Wegen der Ameisen in unserem Zimmer konnten wir kein angebrochenes Essen aufbewahren. Es gibt keinen Kühlschrank. Es ist sehr hellhörig. Die Fenster haben keinerlei Schallschutz.

L'hôtel n'est pas le top mais il est bien situé (Chinatown), propre et la chambre dispose d'une salle de bain et une fenêtre, ce qui n'est pas le cas partout. Je recommande pour les personnes qui vont à l'hôtel juste pour dormir, se changer...

Okey room
Okey room. Could be cleaner. Wifi worked 10% of the time (almost non-existing), slow speed. Hot and cold water dispenser in the hallway was convenient for making noodles and etc. Elevator was a pluss. The location was good, close to the subway and only one stop away from KL central, 1 minutt walk to Chinatown.
