Overall stay of 3 days 2 nights was pleasant. It started with some hiccups, though. Arrived around 3pm but the room wasn't ready, so need to wait another 40 minutes. During the check-in registration process, I was only informed that NO SPA is available yet. However, it was advertised in Expedia, in the hotel website and also in the entrance of the lobby. I have notified in my "Special Instruction" description with Expedia that I would like to reserve a spa session but nobody from the hotel called me regarding the unavailability of spa. Hotel Maya really needs improve on this. Communication is important. Other than this, the stay was good. I like my room. Deluxe Suite was comfortable for my wife and 2 kids. The wardrobe bathroom also was nicely designed. The bed and pillow are comfy. Room service was also attentive. Breakfast buffet was good although I wish there were designated staff for eggs station and for noodles & soup, instead of that 1 single person for both. Waiting time is too long. In overall, the experience is more of a 4 star hotel instead of 5 star (advertise in Expedia and website) but it was still good & pleasant stay.
