I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. From the start, the front desk service was poor, with unhelpful and unfriendly staff. The entire hotel had an unpleasant odor. Upon entering my room, I was met with a humid atmosphere and a strong smell of mold. The bathroom was unclean, with visible stains on the toilet and hair on the floor. Additionally, the window had a large crack, which created a dangerous gap when pressed. One of the pillows also smelled damp. One thing I dislike is that a receipt wasn't issued promptly upon my payment for another night's stay. Other minor details the hotel could look into: (1) no TV guide was available for the TV in the room, or even a list of the channels; (2) only one hook inside bathroom for hanging clothes & towel; (3) water from basin must be controlled carefully or else it splashes powerfully; (4) having Hailam Kopitiam downstairs discourages me from exploring other eating places in KL. Ok this is just a joke! It's a compliment on the wide variety available at all hours. I've stayed at this hotel at least thrice now. Before check in I say I will only stay 2 nights and ask if can refund the 3rd night or inform hotels. Com and they said no. I felt cheated by all these extra charges.
