That being said, the only good thing about this place was the bed. Somehow they managed to get a comfortable bed in there with clean linens. Other than that, the floor and walls were dirty, the "sliding" bathroom door didn't slide at all, the air conditioner had some sort of grease dripping from the opening and the lack of any sort of ventilation in a very small concrete room with no windows kept the humidity at rainforest levels. Nice and sticky all the time, with a wide variety of colorful molds growing on the wall-paper. The room smelled of mold after the air-freshener wore off. The air freshener that the employee had sprayed just prior to showing us the room, he had the can in his hands when he brought us the key. There's some sort of club downstairs that was blasting very loud Arabic music well after 1:30 am that could clearly be heard in the room.
