As an experienced budget traveler, I've stayed in some poor hotels before, but this one is a standout. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls, hot water is a luxury, the front desk staff harasses guests for CASH deposits, some rooms are located around the block in a different building, elevator buttons are missing, the room is scarcely large enough for a bed, and the list goes on. The location is great, but the staff, building, and rooms leave much to be desired. Combine this with the fact that no one has ever heard of the hotel (i.e. cab drivers) and you've got yourself a headache upon arriving in KL. The sole redeeming factor is the location of the hotel, which is about a ten-minute walk from Bukit Bintang and several awesome malls.
