100% do not recommend this place
I had a trip planned to come to Krakow for a long weekend. when i got to the airport i was told our flight was canceled and the next flight was in 3 days. I tried contacting the hotel to let them know i would have to cancel because of this situation that is out of our control. They did not care that we had to cancel and would not refund us our money. I even tried to change the dates for my stay because we are coming back to Poland in February and they still would not help us. I recommend staying at a place that will work around incidents like this that you can't control and not just take your money like this place.

Situation was perfect. Very central but right next to the park as well. The station was very close and the main square a few minutes walk.. Could not have asked for more. Very good breakfast too.

Property was clean, staff very helpful and breakfast lovely. However the hotel is dated, lacked tea/coffee facilities in the room. Beds were a little hard but we're barely slept due to noise from outside ( 24hr polish bar) just below the hotel

Location is great for all attractions, restaurants and bars. Beds and shower great just need furniture to be updated. Breakfast buffet was very good and staff very pleasant and helpful.

Cracow 2019
Good budget hotel, good breakfast and friendly staff. Local area can be noisy at night from revellers and be prepared to be pestered on the main square by local bar owners at night and tour operators during the day. As they try an entice you into their establishments. Organise your own transport to places like Auschwitz don't book taxis through hotels as this is expensive.

We have stayed there before, nice clean hotel, but this time my opinion has changed. They really need a kettle in your room, after being out at night or shopping, a nice coffee would go down well. If you need a coffee the only place is in the lobby to take back to your room 10zlty or £2.25 for a small cup. The building opposite is under a complete reconstruction, 5 floors of banging from 7am, so demand a rear room. The internet is useless, every time I mentioned it, they said they have reported it. We tapped into the hotel Campinile next door, which is open and not secure. And the final confusing issue was leaving. We did get up late, due to another great night in Krakow, and asked if they could ring a taxi. I asked if we owe anything (hotel or city tax) and she said 102zty which was a lot, but then the taxi arrived so I payed, and we left in a panic to get to the airport. Now the strangest thing happened, we spent 15 minutes fighting the morning traffic and ended back outside the hotel again. The driver went inside and 5 minutes later reappeared with no explanation and off we went again. The normal 20 minute trip took nearly an hour. This left 40minutes to check in, security, and grab a bit of duty free, total panic !!!! One final warning, when you think you have done with check in, you leave duty free and there is a big passport que at the departure gate.

Comfortable stay.
Staff at check-in were helpful with directions, activities and allowing us to leave our bags prior to check in. We ran out of time for breakfast but ducked in quickly for a roll as they were packing up, but the staff were also very friendly and gave us some fruit and yoghurt too. It looked like a good breakfast spread! My only issue was the Friday night noise from the hostel next door. I could hear very loud swearing and laughing until nearly 6am! No kidding! We did have the window open a bit however, so perhaps closed it would have been better, but we needed the airflow.

Highly recommend for location by Main Square
The service at the front desk was outstanding. Whenever I needed assistance the young ladies were very helpful. I originally booked an air conditioned room and we were not put in a room with air conditioning but moved the next day. However when moved to the fourth floor the wifi was pretty weak. The daily breakfast was amazing. Great variety and excellent food. Charging for coffee and tea in the lobby also was a negative. However, we were going on an excursion prior to breakfast starting and the kitchen made us breakfast boxes earlier. Yes, I would definitely stay here again and Yes, I already recommended the hotel to a friend thinking of going in September. Great Location, Great Customer Service, Great Breakfast.

Their version of AC was a table fan! I had to keep the window open at night to cool down but then it was hard to sleep due to the loud partying all night long down below on the street. Stay away if you value peace and quiet.

Overall it was a good stay but nothing I would rave about. The things I liked: * the welcome was very good as it was a late arrival (after midnight) due to flight delays so happy it has a 24/7 front desk. * the breakfast is very fresh and varied * the breakfast area very nicely laid out * the front entry lounge is comfortable * very close to great restaurants * the rooms are large and you can open the windows for fresh air (although bear in mind it is the city so can be noisy with late night revellers) * bathrooms clean and comfortable size Things I didn't like: * I didn't find the pillows very commutable and kept swapping them around but to no avail. * the room decor is not up to scratch. In fact the furniture is old 50s/60s looking timber and scratched in a number of places. Not the Danish architect work of Jensen I expected. * The carpet appears old and worn. * there was no bar-fridge to keep my water bottles or other drinks cold * I still prefer to take my own toiletries as I didn't like the squeeze bottle (does everything liquid) * the wifi doesn't work in the breakfast / bar area I chose it as it was within good walking distance to the conference venue I was attending but there are other hotels I'll try next time.

Ok hotel with a great location
Hotel was in a great location a few minutes walk from the main square. Hotel a bit dated and the landing carpets were quite dirty. We asked for a non smoking room but the one we got smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. We did ask to move but there was no other rooms available. Pillows were not great but when we asked we got a couple of additional ones. Plenty of cheap places to eat and drink nearby. Breakfast was adequate and tasty. Overall a good, cheap, no frills hotel close to the main tourist area, perfectly ok for a few nights.

Easter in Krakow
The hotel was in a great location. It is a bit tired but the room was fine with a very large bed. Bathroom great with a large shower enclosure. Toiletries provided but not hair conditioner. Breakfast choices were wonderful and the breakfast room was very clean and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and happy to stay here again. It is also next door to 2 wonderful bars.

nice hotel shame about the older receptionist
Didn't start off too well put a request in for disabled room as I;m in a wheelchair but told it was in use receptionist not very helpful she knew there was nothing i could about it no people skills that the bad out of the way the younger receptionist was nice and the night porter was excellent very friendly always asked how our day went and always with a smile.The hotel was very clean beds comfortable bit of noise in the night nothing we couldn't handle we were all young once the hotel is in a great location in the old town with every attraction within 10/15 minute walk I thought it was a beautiful city locals lovely it was a wonderful short break

Noisy Neighborhood, OK Room
Our room was just fine for the price - except that it was located in the FRONT of the hotel and extremely noisy between midnight and 0500 due to drunken crowds milling around from adjacent buildings. That's right - bars stay open until 5 am in Krakow! The staff will call local police to quiet revelers down if you complain.....the crowds are VERY loud. The staff was pleasant, the room was clean and location near the train station and Main Market Square was good for us despite the street itself not being very nice. Breakfast was good, wifi "sketchy," luggage room provided to early arrivals much appreciated. I'd give this hotel 3/5 in it's price category.

Basic European Hotel close to everything
This within walking distance of most of the Kraków must sees. Rooms are spacious with lots of storage space. Main downside is the beds and pillows are not very comfortable. No room safe either although staff will lock up your valuables at desk. Breakfast buffet has wide variety of food. Staff can book Auschwicz tours but you have too pay cash.

The good: Good value, we had a room for three with breakfast included. Walking distance to Market Square, Vavel, and arguably the train station. Helpful English speaking staff. The bad: No coffeemaker or mini fridge in the room. Coffee is pay for downstairs. Plenty of nightlife around. Noise from a few cafes downstairs in the street all night long. No big deal when you are tired from walking Krakow. Pack your earplugs.

Disappointing
Geographically this hotel is fine. The hotel is tired and dated. The beds were so uncomfortable we still are suffering from bad backs. The pillows were like half cushions and the spare one had no cover! There was a TV in the room but no power lead The shower hose came off and we were told that it would get fixed the next day - when we were leaving! There was a smell in the room which never went despite windows being open.

This hotel was fabulous, 2 minute walk from main market square, loads of places to eat and the park right beside it. Lovely staff, ideal tours to auschwitz and salt mines picked us up from the hotel lobby. Cant say enough positive about hotel classic

Get a Room on the Back Side of the Hotel
This hotel is locatedly conveniently close to the main square. However, a number of bars line the street on which it is located. If you plan on visiting those bars into all hours of the night, the hotel could be the perfect place for you. However, if you hope to sleep, I would strongly recommend requesting a room on the back side of the hotel. I stayed on the front side and heard loud drunks through all hours of the night. My parents slept on the back side and heard nothing. If you can't get a room in the back and you want a good night sleep, I would strongly recommend you look for another hotel.

Central location - LOVE it
Stayed at this hotel both with friends in November 2013 and with family in 2014. It's fantastic for the price...staff are friendly and helpful, the location very close to the town square without actually being in the town square.
