I had a delightful stay at Tonsai Bay Resort. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. I really enjoyed the balcony and sitting in the afternoon breeze. The food from the restaurant was excellent and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Most of all, I enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was a very restful stay.

Tonsai Bay is beautiful and peaceful (Ao Nang and Krabi are crowded and touristy.) The villa was very pleasant. Bathroom is basic but functional. Very nice to have a patio to sit outside. The restaurant at the resort is fabulous and it was wonderful to enjoy meals with the ocean view. Thai massage and kayaking available right from the resort. Boat rides to Ao Nang and around the islands from the other end of the beach. Beware that boats require 8 people, so sometimes there’s a long wait, unless you are willing to pay extra to cover the empty seats.

Service was good but Restaurant no longer looks like pictures, food was generally not good. If you go to Tonsai you will get foodpoisoning. Not the resorts fault but traveller's should be aware.
