We appreciated how well-kept the villas and grounds were. Everything was clean and in good order while we were there, and the owners are very helpful and responsive. The kitchen was fully equipped and it was great to be able to make our own meals some of the time to avoid joining the crowds in town. It was a beautiful and remote location, with great views. That being said, if you are looking for something walkable, this probably isn't the property for you. It remains as good as our first visit with well equipped villas in a peaceful and quiet location, close enough to AO Nang, but not walking distance. Conveniently located a little out of Ao Nang but only a short scooter or taxi ride into the tourist precinct we enjoyed the best of both worlds, the calm tranquility of Leelawadee and the ability to scoot into town whenever we wanted to for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Paul, Bo and their attentive team made us feel very welcome for our entire stay, with plenty of good advice on tap for scooter hire, restaurants and places to see. They would even supply a tailored map so we wouldn't get lost. The 8 units are all the same as far as I could see, very clean, well designed and spacious. The kitchen is functional and the large fridge great for keeping the beer icy cold. The pool is warm, clean and inviting. The gardens are kept impeccably. Little things like moving our pool towel rack under cover when it rained exemplifies their attention to detail. They even attended to our laundry for a very small service fee. We loved our stay here and Krabi has left us with some wonderful memories and when we return we will hope to stay at Leelawadee. This is the summum of tranquility, luxury and hospitality! The owners Paul and Bo made us feel so welcome. They have this way of communicating that automatically calms you down. Originally we were going to stay for 4 nights but it was just a little piece of heaven to stay at their garden resort so we booked another 2 extra nights. They took care of everything, motorbikes, advise where to go to see the "not so mainstream side of Krabi", local quality foods, etc, etc. They booked our trip we had planned to Samui AND on top of that they even brought us to the departure bus stop! Anyhow to cut things short, great place and massive value for money! Location is a bit further out than the mainstream big hotels on Ao Nang Beach but you're going to need a motorbike or car anyway if you're planning to go see some things. So why not book this little heaven on earth only 10 min away from the beach. You'll be sure to have a good nights rest and wonderful owners with sincere advise. Wir wohnten fünf Tage in einer der acht Villas im Leelawadee Garden Resort. Ursprünglich waren drei Tage geplant, dann haben wir zwei Tage verlängert, was reibungslos möglich war. Die Villa war top ausgestattet, sehr sauber und verfügte über eigenes highspeed Wifi. HDTV am Flatscreen gibt es ebenfalls. Der Pool ist ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und das Wasser war glasklar und frisch. Das Personal ist äußerst höflich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und große Portionen. Die Hotelanlage gibt den Gästen das Gefühl im Paradies gelandet zu sein. Obwohl man in 10 Taximinuten sowohl in Ao Nang als auch in Krabi ist, herrscht auf dem kleinen Hügel auf dem sich das Resort befindet angenehme Stille. Über die Rezeption ist jeder Ausflug und jede Idee umsetzbar. Loved this place! Caroline and Paul are wonderful helpful hosts. The little villas are comfortable and cozy. Just the right amount of kitchen space for a travelers needs. This is a retreat accommodation. It is not close to anything so prepare to pay for taxis that aren't cheap. The pool area and pool are lovely and well maintained. Hotel owners are very helpful with arranging daytrips. When we arrived, we found a lizard in our room and there was no hot water either. Although the reptile was promptly removed and hot water was fixed next day, it is not something one would expect from a four-star hotel. The doors did not lock properly and there was no safety box in the room. The hotel facilities are limited to a swimming pool only. As for the location, it is far from Ao Nang Beach and there are no shops/restaurants nearby. So be prepared to spend much on taxis. And make sure the driver knows the area as our driver could not find it despite having the exact address. Alternatively, you can rent a scooter from the hotel if you feel confident to ride one in crazy traffic. On the positive note, the place is very beautiful and quiet with newly built houses in a good condition.
