Staff were absolutely lovely. Dining at the club restaurant was a real pleasure, the biggest and tastiest pork chop that I have had in many years….
Room was very comfortable and the surrounding area a pleasure to see…

Hotel Grandezza is a lovely hotel with a beautiful interior which appears to have been recently refurbished in a sympathetic manner.
We stayed in room 502 - top floor - which had amazing views over the Market Square and onto Špilberk Castle and the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul.
The staff were friendly, helpful & professional. The room which felt quite luxurious, was tastefully decorated and very comfortable.
Our accommodation was quiet as we were there over the weekend, however,...

The best area to stay in Kozlany is within the village centre itself, as it offers the most convenient access to local amenities and the surrounding countryside.
Kozlany is a small, traditional Moravian village. The main area is concentrated around the central square, where you'll find the local church and a few small shops. Accommodation tends to be in guesthouses or renovated farmhouses, providing a quiet and authentic experience. The village is surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills, making it ideal for those who enjoy outdoor activities.
Couples looking for a relaxing escape will find Kozlany perfect. You can enjoy strolls through the vineyards, explore the local walking and cycling paths, and experience the slow pace of rural life. The nearby town of Vyskov, a short drive away, offers more dining options and a local zoo for a day trip.
For families, staying in Kozlany provides a wonderful opportunity for children to experience the countryside. Many guesthouses have gardens, and the open spaces around the village are great for outdoor play.
When is the best time to go to Kozlany?
The best time to visit Kozlany is generally during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) months.
These periods offer pleasant weather, with comfortable temperatures that are ideal for exploring the countryside and enjoying outdoor activities. You'll find the vineyards at their most scenic, either bursting with new growth in spring or rich with harvest colours in autumn. This avoids the peak heat of summer and the colder, sometimes snowy, conditions of winter.
For those planning to enjoy wine tasting and vineyard tours, September and October are particularly good as they align with the grape harvest season, offering a more complete experience. The local wine cellars often have special events during this time.
