To be fair, the hotel itself is a nice boutique hotel located right on the water with a nice lounge area outside.
The major issue I have with place like this is the poor communication and the fact that they seem to nickel and dime you while being concerned with collecting every last penny from you. My fiance and I were celebrating our engagement and a birthday, but unfortunately had to spend the entire sunset going back and forth with why we specifically booked one of their 8 rooms with a balcony (a superior room) but were put in the back of the hotel (in 1 of 2 standard rooms). I was even told at one point the room we were in was a "superior room" until i called out the lie by showing him the exact room on his website which was a "standard room."
We've traveled a lot and typically i wouldn't find this to be a big deal, but the main reason for choosing this place was to have dinner on our balcony with the backdrop of the bay of Kotor. Not only this but i had to argue with the fact that i paid a much higher price and deserved to be refunded at least the difference in room price, which i was eventually granted the following morning after multiple discussions. The manager was reasonable but could've done a few other things to fix this. Some staff were extremely accommodating, while others seemed annoyed with any question we asked.
Make sure you ask about the cost of ANYTHING as they will tack on fees for everything even if you didn't specifically request this.
