The view from the deck is even better than the picture! The apartment has everything you need including a great coffee maker (& supplied pods), a washing machine (& ample drying rack space), lots of space to spread out, and the gracious host even provided a bottle of wine & a Montenegran welcome platter with local meats & cheeses upon arrival. A few things to be aware of: 1) the apartment is up 5 flights of stairs (no elevator) so mobility-impaired guests will not be happy; 2) while there is ample parking on the street (no actual parking lot), this apartment is located in a neighborhood with many other complexes so creativity is often required to park your car; 3) being American we rarely encounter smoking anymore, but be aware that you will encounter significant smoking fumes while sitting on the balcony. If you are sensitive to this as we are, you will not be able to enjoy the balcony for long periods of time.If you are okay with these 3 things, then you will have a great time at this rental! ##### George P. I got the chance to talk with them for awhile and the owners dad is very interesting person. If you get the chance, spend a little time talking with him.The apartment was very nice and clean. The location has a great view. However you will get some exercise, it is on the 5th floor without an elevator. And the building is also about 700 feet above the old town of Kotor. It is about a 1 1/2 half mile walk to the town, and there is none or very few sidewalks in most of the town. You will walk in the street it will feel very unsafe, given how people drive in the area. Now the only issue I had with location is the neighborhood. It is a lived in location and had a lot of run down apartment buildings. You will see some public drunkenness and some colorful people in the neighborhood. Nothing felt unsafe, but can see some folks feeling uncomfortable. I would book this place again. The best advice I have is use your rental car as an elevator, don't try to park close to the old town, just park the car at the bottom of the hill, there is plenty of street parking at the bottom of the hill. And walk to old town. Then walk back and drive the car up the monster hill. We didn't figure this out until the second day.
