My honeymoon was turned into a nightmare. We were only informed about the hotel lift being closed for repair after checking in. We asked if the repair will be completed later that day and the hotel receptionist assured us that the problem will be solved asap. We had to carry our big & heavy luggage up the flight of stairs to the 2nd floor which was very frustrating. We climbed up & down the smelly & hot staircase many times to go out for meals, shopping, massage. When we check out, then we are told that the repair work for the lift might take 2 weeks or more.
