"We have lived in Kyrgyzstan for over a year. I thought this hotel was nice, the facilities are updated and the staff was kind and helpful. If you come from America, like I do - realize you are on the Kyrgyz time. They will serve the meals at set times - it may not be all day. Be willing to be flexible and enjoy how they do things, you will have a lovely time. "

"Nice view on the lake, new rooms with modern designs, clean. Not organized kitchen. Very unfriendly woman receptionist. Just on arrival hot water in shower ended. We were asked to change the room, where shower was better but tap didn't have hot water all the stay. When we arrived to breakfast(8 to 11 am) at 10 am, there were only empty dirty plates, fruits, some veggies and cakes. On our questions we were told that we still can eat what is left. After some arguments they brought some sausages...

"Room/cottage is very nice, but walls are thin and if you have noisy youth in the next door cottage don't be surprised if you are kept awake until 3AM... Also probably the hardest bed I have ever tried to sleep on. Basics like coffee are not provided, but are available for pay in the resort shop on the rare occasions it is open. (There is a kiosk just outside the resort gate which is a better bet.) Positives - good food and service in the restaurants and coffee shop, and the spa centre offers...

"It was closed even though we reserved and paid over one month ago without any prior notice. Worst in my life. We had to find other accomodation in the area we had little idea and English was not often used. We had to stay in a condominium where no heating was offered. We were almost frozen to death during the night. However there were no other choices. We had to avoid sleeping out in the open air. We couldn't help staying at the summer condominium."
