Fraud as they blamed each other. The internet did not work in my room and the person who responded could only say “good luck”. Horrible place to stay. "We ended our 2 week road trying on Ring Road here. We wanted a warm place to come back to after going to the Blue Lagoon. My boyfriend took a shower and neither drain worked. The bathroom completely flooded and went into the carpet of the main room. We ended up cleaning it ourselves and asked to move to a different room but all were booked. "Apartment was nice and very well situated within a 5-7 minute walk from the main area of downtown Reykjavik.
Bed was comfortable and free street parking was easy to find a short 2-3 blocks away.
Communication with the management company was fast and easy.
There isn’t anything in the bathroom other than hand soap and it could have used a bit more cleaning but just fine.
Would definitely stay there again!"
"We were locked in the elevator had to call 911. Then the front door broke and no guests could get in or out. Then the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. When I called customer service to seek some compensation they attempted to tell me that it wasn’t their responsibility that the elevator in the hotel broke and the emergency call button wasn’t working. "Everything about this property worked great for our stay. Staff and facilities were excellent.
Please note that this site is very close to the regional airport where the tourist helicopters depart from, so there is quite a lot of noise during the day. This didn't bother us too much, and all the benefits of the establishment itself being quiet compensated for the airport noise.
