"This was my second time booking with Northwinds. The rooms are cool and cozy over all. We had issues with our plumbing shortly after arriving and I sincerely cannot rave enough about how amazing the front desk agent was. HUGE shout out to Isaiah. This guy deserves a raise. He was managing so much at once helping everyone and dealing with issues as they arose. He got maintenance in right away to look over our issues and was advised it was not fixable for our stay. We were moved to another location which was beautiful and made up for any issues we had at the Northwinds property. I would still book again at Northwinds despite not being able to stay there my second try. My first stay was enjoyable and second stay was just bad luck but they sure made up for it. Customer service is really hard to come by these days and Isaiah knows exactly how to make a guest return and feel valued."
Uptowner Hotel

"The Uptowner is a unique hotel. Older. The hotel room doors are just regular home doors - no additional locks other than the door handle. No phones in the rooms. The rooms were very clean (although I wish hotels would remove carpeting and put in vinyl planks) and the beds were different (instead of replacing beds with new, a foam topper was added), but very comfy. No breakfast, but did have coffee onsite to help with waking up. Mom & Pop shop. I was only there one night, but I did enjoy it and would stay again. And I'd recommend it to others letting them know it is a bit different."
