"Very large room with most unusual design of toilet, shower and basin - eg shower faces door so floor floods. Couch is perpendicular to TV so difficult to watch. Temperature control excellent. Our room was at front so some car noise. Location is very good."

"What a fantastic relaxing stay at these private cottages in the quiet rainforest. We have travelled extensively over the years & can count on one hand the amount of venues we would give a 10 out of 10 rating. This is the only one in the last few years! The fastidious cleaning is beyond appreciated and the home baked sourdough & jam, ample tasty breakfast, luxurious towels, robes, bath products & bedding are just a cut above. Even chocolates, nuts, a tipple of sherry & afternoon tea - wow! All the lovely little touches made our stay that much more special - the well stoked fire being top of the list. Thank you so very much. Highly recommend to all - just book it!"

"An excellent location, the cottage offered a wonderfully private and peaceful retreat for our brief stay. The bathroom was nicely appointed, clean and modern and the property as a whole was a comfortable size to relax with the option of a wood burning stove to provide warmth throughout on a chilly winter evening. Definitely recommend it fellow travellers."

"Beautiful house just BYO firewood.We absolutely loved the cottage, beautifully styled, clean and well thought out however we honestly couldn't believe we were advised to buy our own firewood after the 15kg left for us was all we would be receiving for our 4 night stay. This didn't even last the 1st night.Despite daily calls and messages to the property manager we were told a delivery would be arriving the day we left. We ended up spending an extra 120 on firewood from town. Please be upfront with listing's if the expectation is for guests to supply their own wood especially when the home is promoted as having 2 fireplaces. Our messages were often replied with AI responses which came across as really passive aggressive.Otherwise the house is lovely and a beautiful spot."
