"We stayed 3 nights and the Royal Kona is close to shops and restaurants. The property is showing its age and some areas are under renovation. Staff were helpful and baggage and valet staff were working their tails off."

"First thing I checked in and I had ocean front room and instead they gave me 2 floor room that the view was the first floor roof , I went to guest service and they did not help me at all , I had to request a manager to show them the view of the room I booked and the one they gave me , she then proceeded to help me and gave me the one I purchased, her name was Mailie , the beach in front of the hotel is used by locals and anyone , there is not exclusively like they show on pics here ,I fine to stay here but is way overpriced "

"Room was clean. Hot tub wasn’t ready the first day we arrived, but was ready the second day. Parking was difficult. We had to park one night in the front lot. The property is close to a variety of restaurants."

"This condo was great! Clean and had all essentials needed. Beach chairs and cooler was a plus. The location could have been better, walking distance to restaurants. "

It seemed like the hot tub had been down for a while from the signs posted so there was plenty of time to update the listing or give us notice. Listing still says there is a hot tub despite the fact that the hot tub is still out of service. Towels were insufficient for the length of stay and guests. Coffee pot with no filters."
